Terrible Quality

I purchased my cute little SunJellies bag-sket in NYC at Eataly on June21,2023, it broke two days ago on Sept11,2023. Even though I purchased it in June, I just started using it and even if I had used it every day for the past two months. At a $35+ tax price tag, it shouldn’t have broken. A child wasn’t using it, it wasn’t abused, I used it to carry my towel, water bottle and my phone at the gym. With a maximum of 24 hours use in less than three months this bag is going to a landfill. I contacted SunJellies and they told me to go back to Eataly, I no longer live in NYC and really they don’t care how crappy their product is. They will go under like most companies do because their products aren’t good.
I bought it because of the nostalgia from the 80’s and 90’s when I had jelly shoes. Like so many other products, garbage. To the landfills and oceans it will go.

Responding to SunJellies: You told me to take my receipt back to Eataly in NYC...as I stated via email, I no longer have the receipt to make a return as I wasn’t expecting to have to contact the location where I bought your product… I stated this via the email. I communicated this after you sent me information. I gave you the location, I know how to contact them. I did not keep the receipt. It is your product, you can choose to honor a warranty; the second hand seller has no warranty, SunJellies should.

As you bought the item from one of our trusted stockists in the USA and not directly from our British based online store we are limited in what we can do. We agree the item should not have broken after the apparent light usage you reported but unfortunately it is not possible to confirm exactly what may have caused this breakage. However we can assure you that this is not a common issue.

Upon review we believed the best course of action was for you to contact the place of purchase in your own country. We gave you all the contact details but as far as we are aware you refuse to contact them for assistance.

We are sorry we were unable to resolve this matter to your satisfaction. If you feel it necessary to dispose of the item it is 100% recyclable.

I bought two of the Atomic totes

I bought two of the Atomic totes: first the cream colored from a local store here in the states. Wanted the blue also so ordered from the company directly for shipping to the US. Pleased with both the products and quick shipping. Best beach bags ever.

Rubbish,waste of money.Horrible experience!

Spent a lot of money,one bag arrived faulty.Sun Jellie customer service refused to offer a refund or replacement or as requested a return shipping label.I provided all evidence.I was treated in a patronizing way and they refuse to admit any product could possibly have an issue! They behave as if they are above the law and show complete arrogance.

Highly recommend

Website was easy to use and the ordering process very straightforward. I think free delivery above a certain spend is good and even without that, the cost of postage is good. A good selection of colours and sizes of shoes and bags. Communication was excellent after placing an order and I knew exactly when my parcel would arrive. They despatched and delivered very quickly.

The shoes are lovely- I ordered glitter and rainbow and the colours look even better in person than on the site. Flexible rubber, not flimsy or stiff like some of the cheaper options you see. I also ordered a jelly bag and a coin purse which were exactly as I hoped.

An excellent experience from start to finish and I would recommend :)

Sun Jellies - Top Quality Jelly Sandals

Sun Jellies are gorgeous and made from top quality PVC. They fit perfectly in my normal size and, worn without socks, do not rub at all even when wet and do not make your feet sweat like some other brands. The insole has a slightly roughened surface, so your feet do not slide about when in the water

The colour (cyan) is exactly as it appears in the photos on their website. The plastic is strong and almost unbreakable and should not split after extended use. The only weak point is the plastic buckle, so don't put them on or take them off fastened.

Lost parcel from them 2 weeks ago and…

Lost parcel from them 2 weeks ago and still waiting on refund, they have done very little to rectify this. Was going to order again as it was royal mails fault the order was lost but definitely not going to now. Use amazon or any other site to order jelly shoes at least they respect your money.

Terrible customer service, poor quality product.

I purchased two plastic bags from the company Sun Jellies LTD from their online store. Two months after the purchase of the first product (purchased May 25th 2015) and the bag had cracked noticeably in each corner. My son then proceeded to buy me a replacement assuming this was a one-off issue, and the items are relatively low cost (£10 per unit). After one month the additional bag (Purchased September 19th 2015) had also cracked in exactly the same places. I then contacted the business describing the issue complete with various photos of the items. I was then blamed for the damage of the bag with the business claiming it was handled inappropriately, which is totally incorrect (they accused me of this multiple times). When replacements / refunds were requested the company informed they would only provide replacements if I agreed to foot the cost of shipping. This is in breach of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as the products were bought before October). When I informed the company of this they refused to change their stance on this. This is wholly unacceptable and the Directors need to be held accountable for their failure to operate their business within the Law.
