Steer well clear
They were supposed to spend two to three weeks re-bedding the ridge tiles. They were supposed to provide a skip and tower access to the roof. They were on site for about three days, took a couple of sacks of debris away, and after the first few tiles all they did was slap some cement over the existing moss/lichen/broken cement. Richie, the boss, came back a couple of times and they did a bit more work, and we paid them (foolishly I trusted him). 12 months on the only thing holding the tiles down is the lightning conductor and I have to check after every storm to make sure the roof is still on. Their work has a 10 year guarantee, but you try getting them back to fix it. Avoid them like the plague.
