Staff friendly and efficient, 5 stars. Real ale was great.
Unfortunately food was a let down. Roast beef very stringy, double burger overdone & small, deserts tiny for the money. Pizza looked good.
The pub was very noisy due to young children compared to similar venues which bothered me but probably wouldn't bother most people.
Decor is tired.
Wouldn't go back other than for a drink when it's quieter. Great staff & great ale.

Not quite sure why the management only had a handful of staff on when they knew the pub was going to be busy (I'd rung up the day before to confirm our booking of a large group and was told by the helpful guy on the phone that there were two other big groups in that night too) however, credit goes to Jamie who was behind the bar on his own for the majority of the time we were there and who didn't lose his cool and remained friendly and professional despite having hoards of people ordering drinks and food! An absolute asset to the team.

Food was also good and came out quickly even though there were a lot of people ordering and the waitress who appeared to be serving the entire pub on her own was also great.

A solid neighbourhood pub which we've been going to on and off for years. Great gardens for the kids to run around in too and based on this visit, awesome team members - especially given how understaffed they were.

We booked as a large party of 15. We were told that there were 2 other large parties the same night so to order food before the other groups came to lessen the wait.

There was only one barman on and he was obviously busy but stayed polite, attentive and very pleasant, didn't get flustered or visibly stressed and nothing was too much bother..

We ordered food, came quickly, delivered by a lovely girl (didn't catch her name,sorry) who went out of her way to get another bun for my fussy child! Food was great.

Overall we had a great night and Jamie was amazing, so friendly and even though he was run off his feet he didn't lose his natural customer service skills.

Well done Jamie, Arran and Dan and the lovely waitress. A credit to the Sunnyside team.

What a lovely day we had at the fun day.
Under new management and the new manager is AMAZING went above and beyond to make the fun day really and the kids really enjoyed it. Food was nice could not fault it.
