Pay more for their mistakes!!

At first the showroom staff were amazing and my mother picked what she wanted and they helped her through the process. We were very pleased with the process and price. Come delivery date they sent the wrong colour cupboards. When my mother called the showroom the first thing the person on the phone said was if you want something else it will cost £2500 more, she did not offer to look into the matter at all. Thankfully at this point my sister and I got involved to resolve the matter as they should not be asking for more money as it was their mistake. We were then told that the colour my mum had picked was a discontinued item. Why let her pick it in the first place? I then called the Dronfield office and was not met with a much better response but the person looked into the matter and said that is the colour that my mother ordered despite us having photos of the cupbaords from the showroom in the correct colour. Apparently it was all our fault and they do no wrong. My mother than accepted the new colour as she just wanted the work doing but the fitter then informed us that the cupboards were the wrong size. Thought they do no wrong!!! When we called about this issue yet again it was all my mother’s fault until finally they admitted they made a mistake after endless calls and pointless arguing. The person at Dronfield explain that they will reorder the items but it is a minimum of 3 weeks before they will be made. The conversation got heated and he stated that they did not have to do this as this is what my mother ordered but they already have admitted they got it wrong. Apparently they did not have to put things right even though they had ordered the wrong items. I made it clear that I would take legal action as they have clearly made a multiple of mistakes and that we believe they are trying to take advantage of a elderly women. Then suddenly his attitude changed and there were no issues getting this resolved. We agreed to the 3 weeks as the only other choice was to get a full refund and start the process again. We asked for compensation as this seemed to be fair as these issues were their mistake, they offered an amount which we accepted. It is a shame it became who can shout the loudest contest. 4 weeks later we have finally had the cupboards fitted in the right colour and right size. All the arguing and shouting could have been avoided if they admitted they made a mistake in the first place. It was frustrating and time consuming. The showroom staff were not helpful in the matter and still were adament that my mother was at fault even though the office stated otherwise. The fitter they sent was amazing and I would recommended him. I cannot recommended this company though. I really want to support local companies but to be treated the way we were was unacceptable. I am still waiting for a respose to several questions I asked during this period.

We are really sorry to hear that your mothers experience with Supafit has left you feeling unsatisfied with our service and to leave a 1 star review.

The colour that your mother chose approximately a year ago was discontinued but at this point no deposit was paid and no order was placed .
When your mother decided to place an order just under a year later we advised her that the colour had now discontinued and suggested another colour which was similar ,this colour was seen by your mother yourself and your sister, at this point the member of staff suggested you taking it home to see what it looked like in the room ( as colours can look different in different lighting ) however you decided to take a photo instead. On the day of the fit your sister entered our showroom complaining in front of another customer saying we had the wrong colour at this point the member of staff excused herself from the other customer and got the sample colour out to show your sister that it was the correct colour and said she was more than welcome to take the sample home to confirm of which she did and it was the right colour.


The reason we said that the bedroom would cost £2500.00 extra was because no colour mistake was made by us. If your mother had wanted to change the colour it would mean, a new order being placed of doors and board material for the carcass in a new colour that your mother would choose, and we were happy to offer this at cost price.

With regards to our staff being rude, I can honestly say that we have never had anybody in 30 years complain about our staff. On the contrary they believe the staff are more than helpful,  courteous and  respectful to all our customers, and certainly do not take advantage of anyone. This you can see in our previous reviews.

When the goods were delivered to your mothers house it was realised that the door sizes were incorrect. We were extremely apologetic about this and totally admitted to our mistake, so we  contacted you immediately and explained how we would rectify this for you.
We explained to you that we would have to reorder the doors which unfortunately meant a wait of another 3 weeks. We actioned this immediately and booked the new fitting date in, and because this was our mistake by human error we offered you a fair discount which you were happy to accept.

We believe that we did everything we could to help the situation, and by reading your comments your mother is happy with the end result and the bedroom is exactly what she signed for.

Over the years we have had supafit do quite a few jobs for us and we have always found the quality of their work is of the highest standard. Bedroom Furniture

The bedroom furniture we have had designed and fitted by Supafit are so lovely. The build itself is so sturdy and they feel like they will last forever! We opted for a dressing table fitted within our bay window, it makes such good use of the space and the fit is perfect. I would definitely recommend.

This is the second time we

This is the second time we have used Supafit - the first was in 2017. They designed exactly what we wanted, matched existing doors, handles and colours where requested. Installation was on the date agreed and the fitters were efficient, polite and cleared up well. Not cheap, but well worth the expense to get exactly what we wanted.

Very happy that we chose Supafit to…

Very happy that we chose Supafit to design and fit our new bedroom. Someone came out quickly to design and measure up then email the plan. We visited the showroom to choose our design of door, colour and handles, there was lots of choice. We arranged our fitting day and had 5 weeks to prepare and get rid of our old wardrobes. The fitter did an excellent job and was finished in 1 day, and left everything tidy too.
The quality and fit of the wardrobes is excellent, and the L shaped corner wardrobe is huge. So glad we went for fitted wardrobes instead of just buying new wardrobes, my bedroom is now perfect.

Brilliant service from start to finish

Brilliant service from start to finish. Friendly and welcoming reception at the shop. Prompt home visit from Jenna, with great advice and assistance for the initial planning. Excellent follow-up service to fine tune the design to our specific needs.
Quality and care shown throughout the whole fitting process was of the highest level. Even the refitting of the carpet was arranged immediately after the job was finished!

Quality Design and installation

We approached a few local companies for quotes for 2 bedrooms. Supafit went the extra mile with the design process, really listening to what we wanted and coming up with a few options and costs for us to consider.

I have used Supafit before on a kitchen refurb project so I had no concerns over the quality of the furniture or workmanship.

The fitters did a great job and kept everywhere clean and tidy. It was all done in the timescales agreed upfront. Special thanks to Chris who came out in the snow. He had to park the van on the main road and bring his tools 1/4 mile to the house!

Fantastic job Supafit, really pleased with bedrooms!

Excellent customer service from start…

Excellent customer service from start to finish. I commissioned supafit to make and install, wardrobes, bedside cabinets, head board drawers and a bookcase for the whole house, they were professional stuck to their quote, and the finish on my furniture was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Superfit from the first call to the final product

Superfit from the initial call to the final product excelled my expectations, they were not only very competitive, but the product is fantastic compared to those that were significantly more expensive (probably the same). Everyone completed their task in the process well and the fitter was great, he was on time and the room was left very clean and tidy.
