Hello,

Hello,
transport ordered from Superior took additional costs because of wrong custom papers, which caused overstaying.
They did not want to pay for this, which I made loose

Not a good service

My flooring was due to be delivered yesterday (Friday) as I needed my builder and another person to be in when the delivery arrived. (I am disabled following surgery). I was promised a call or text with a 2 hour time slot on the day. It didn't happen.

I contacted the sales company who told me they had previous issues with your service but they would ring you. I called them again and they said they had trouble getting through. They called me back to say that you were having trouble delivering the item but would do your best. They also privately said they did not think you would deliver on the day as it was in Depot 142. (That's how I found out who you were, by googling the info I had).

I contacted you directly and was told that a driver had to go home to to a family crisis. (I absolutely understand and accept that). I was told that there were 16 other people whose orders hadn't been delivered. I asked why nobody had bothered calling or texting me and was told that the person was too busy as there were over a hundred customers who had been let down. (One driver does not have over a hundred deliveries in a day!)

The flooring supplier had told me that it cost £75 them to deliver my flooring. I paid for that. It didn't actually cost them anything as it was incorporated in the cost of my flooring.

I was promised a service that I didn't get.

The flooring was delivered today and left on the pavement in the rain. I had to call a friend to carry it in for me. I had received no promised call or text (again) with that 2 hour slot that you promise.

Both the sales company Superior Freight had told me that the driver would, on this occasion, carry the 7 boxes of flooring into my house. The driver refused saying it was not his job. He actually left the palette in front of my car so in any event I could not have gone out.

Superior Freight told me that they had emailed the sales company yesterday morning, explaining your orders would not be delivered. The sales company said they were not aware.

I told both Superior Freight and the sales company that I am a Journalist and am writing a piece about my whole house renovation. I will be including this experience.

(By the way, all my phone calls are automatically recorded if you feel the need to challenge my version of events and I will be leaving Feedback for the sales company too.)
