I was looking for a bathroom fan that closed when it was not switched on when I saw a video of this model opening and closing I thought straight away that is very different and wanted one. There are lots of extras to go with the fan. Modular Design: Supports interchangeable control modules (sold separately) to suit different control needs such as timer, humidity, or pull-cord operation. But I jut needed the basic fan that closes when switched off. There is a time delay after starting the fan before the iris shutter on the front of the fan opens and the same delay when switched off before they close. Not sure why we need the delay I would like to know if it is adjustable or remove it completely. Not completely silent when running but a lot less noise than the fan it is replacing for the same air flow. Also looks and feels better quality at a good price.

Keeps the draughts out when not in use. My old extractor fan was like leaving a window wide open. Useless. This one only opens when extracting so it’s perfect for the job. Looks neat and stylish too.
