Quick fix for printer stuck on "telephone"
The problem was solved quickly with my printer stuck on "telephone" so could not print anything out, not even to copy a page. When we unplugged it, perfection!!!! It worked.

Check Before you Pay Twice!
SMUD Tech John was extremely helpful in solving the problem when I mistakenly paid twice for the renewal of my subcription. While I was still explaining the issue he had seen & confirmed the fact & swiftly sent it to the appropriate department for a refund of the second payment. He helped with a couple of installations in the SMUD's Security & Privacy area, for which I am grateful. He was very patient with both my ancient and slow desktop, as well as my elder slowness in operating the PC. System Mechanic provides excellent service, & I've used it for several years, & recommend it highly.
