Deep disappointment with a recent experience at SUPREME TIMBER NEWTON AYCLIFFE
I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent experience at SUPREME TIMBER NEWTON AYCLIFFE store that left me both frustrated and disheartened. I visited intending to purchase fence timbers, posts, and plywood for a specific project, but the store staff encountered was unwelcoming and unprofessional.
When I asked for clarification to ensure the materials were suitable for my job, I was met with a dismissive and rigid tone. In particular, Jack displayed an aggressive attitude when I tried to take a second look at the plywood. His explanation about safety rules ( knowing that everywhere in his store there is safety violation for example , manual handling done by one person for heavy material ,no adequate designated areas for reception , not enough signage , no organized parking ....etc) came across more as a reprimand than a helpful clarification. There was no courtesy, no smile, bad body language , very bad voice tone and certainly no effort to guide me as a paying customer.
I’ve since taken my business to another store, Travis Pekins, where I was treated with respect, offered knowledgeable guidance, and left feeling confident about my purchase. It’s unfortunate that a company with your potential allows such behaviour to drive customers away.( in all cases my money in my pocket so all shops are mine )
I urge everyone to reassess how SUPREME TIMBER NEWTON AYCLIFFE store members engages with clients. A professional, respectful approach isn’t just good manners—it’s good business not fighting Club :) . No customer should have to feel belittled or unwelcome simply for asking questions.
Please take this feedback seriously and consider/ recommend implementing customer service training especially communication skills for this such staff like Jack. I won’t be returning to be treated this way ever again and i would not like any other client to waste time with such things
Sincerely,
Omer Ine
