I bought a model plane kit which was posted quickly, unfortunately there was a piece missing but one quick email and the missing item was in the post. Very friendly and helpful, will definitely be returning.

We buy all our remote control cars from Sussex Model Shop and couldn’t recommend them more highly. The team are consistently helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely generous with their time. They don’t just sell you a product and send you on your way — they take the time to explain how everything works, offer practical tips, and help with repairs when things go wrong.

Their aftercare and expertise really stand out. It’s rare to find a model shop where the staff are so willing to go the extra mile and make sure you get the most out of your hobby. A brilliant local shop with a fantastic team behind it.

It is rare to find a company with such good customer service. Adam was incredibly helpful and patient sorting out a parts issue with my son‘s model aircraft. He was knowledgeable and efficient – thank you Adam!

Ordered program card for my plane motor as was waiting to maiden it. Ordered on Tuesday and arrived on Wednesday. Exactly as ordered, couldn't ask for anything more 😀

Excellent store! Only used online as unfortunately I don’t live nearby but they’ve been great all the same. If there have been any delay for orders they’ve always phoned or emailed with updates.
Will certainly use again in the future.

Not a bad company overall to be fair! However one of the team (adam) is a liar, he's lost the company many sales by not calling me back with customer service, promises the world but delivers nothing!! Wheelspin models all the way guys 👍🏻

My 10 yr old son was looking online for a radio control aeroplane. With me not knowing anything about them we went to Sussex Model Centre for some advice. We got the advice we needed and left with a plane. We have just spent the last few hours having a fantastic time with the new plane, the advice we received was spot on and the plane my son purchased was perfect. So much fun I'm considering buying another for myself. Great!

Items ordered well packaged and correct, I dropped a star, only because it takes longer than I would reasonably expect to recieve items. Just a little slow in fulfilment. Other than that they're a cracking little store.

I found sussex model centre very helpful in sorting an esc and motor for an old great planes model which you can’t get but they managed to cross reference and sort me out and with super fast delivery what more could you ask

Wow, ordered some tubes online and it said they were on back order before I purchased so happy days, couldn’t find the confirmation of order email so contacted them and they confirmed the order, turns out it was my fault I couldn’t find the confirmation email, it had been sent immediately post order and then the tubes turned up 2 days later. Great communications, great service and stocked the “unusual” part I was after at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend them to anyone. Well done Sussex Model Center
