Definitely spamming practices from Swift Cloud B2B Wholesale App - a piece of software so good, that they must spam you every single month with regular unprompted 'follow up' e-mails (from the same person and e-mail address), then have the pretension, as seen in the other review, that if 'you' want the e-mails to stop, then 'you' need to request it, so thereby placing the onus on you, rather than just taking the hint like any other company would when they get no response after half a year. How many e-mails ignored would it take for a so called reputable company like Swiftcloud to stop e-mailing? Does it take 15? maybe 20 until this company eventually stop? I've had 8 so far
Both swiftcloud.co.uk & swift-cloud.co.uk (the latter of which the e-mail spams derive) are the exact 'same' company, probably so that they can use the excuse they already have, that it's nothing to do with them when they receive any criticism of their unsolicited spamming, but it all comes from the exact same e-mail address listing both domains in the e-mails, from the exact same person, so isn't from another company at all.
They use awfully poor sales scripted patter in their e-mails, that look like they came straight out of some cheesy cold-calling sales course. It's 2022, not 2002, and these practices no longer work. The vast majority of buyers don't appreciate or respond to cold calls, which is a primary reason the tactic doesn't work. According to recent studies (source: Harvard Business Review) 90% of buyers never respond to an unsolicited inquiry and 88% of buyers will have nothing to do with cold callers. It's also time consuming and expensive. But having worked in commercial sales myself, I know why it happens. It's possible that this "strategy" was sold to swiftcloud, like many are, by a salesperson who had past sales success, due to being in a sector or sectors that experienced organic market growth or a boom, and crediting their successes solely down to them and their tactics, and structure these courses with outdated cold calling waffle with a bit of 'psychology selling' mixed in.
And then you end up with companies like swiftcloud using them, and trying to do damage limitation on review sites.
