Best swimming lessons with the best swimming teacher- THOMAS!! Given my son skills and confidence in just a few lessons and my son looks forward to each lesson! Cannot recommend enough! Huge thanks to Thomas of Nuffield Health -Hendon, from Yaakov

Absolutely terrible. I signed up at the beginning of May, they cancelled 5 out of 8 of my daughter’s weekly swimming lessons by text message only within 2-3 hours notice of each class starting. They have continued to take my monthly direct debits and have now suspended all future classes. I have had no contact with regards to the substantial refund I am owed, my emails have been ignored and it takes a very long time to get through to anyone on the phone. This was in Banbury.

We had our first lesson yesterday with Amy at double tree Hilton-> loved her , so experienced and children liked her as well. Definitely going to continue with her.

Negatives - very expensive and poor customer service from the customer service team for example a lesson was cancelled last minute due to vomit in the pool and we were never credited despite asking numerous times.

Fantastic Swimming Lessons for Kids!
My 8-year-old has been taking swimming lessons here for last few terms now, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress. The instructor( Wesley ) is patient, friendly, and really know how to work with kids. They make the lessons fun while still focusing on safety and proper technique. My 8 yo went from being hesitant in the water to confidently swimming multiple strokes. The class sizes are small, which means each child gets a good amount of attention. Highly recommend for any parent looking to build their child’s swimming skills and confidence in the water!

Over the past four weeks, swimming nature has cancelled 3 swimming lessons for my daughter due to technical issues at her local swimming pool. Each time I try to re-arrange the lost lesson, I am not getting timely replies to my emails so I have to call the customer service phone number, but nobody ever picks up the phone. I end up spending extra time writing more emails that get ignored; my daughter swimming journey is not progressing;

Overall the swimming lessons are great and the coaches are very good with small children. My daughter was afraid of the water when we started classes and her progress has been fantastic. Customer service, however, is the worst. Swimming nature has failed to warn us that the coach could not attend the lesson multiple times - and you are just left waiting by the pool until the time of the lesson is done - no warning no explanation no apologies. Whenever we tried calling them we received promises that someone would call us back, no one ever did. When contacted by email or WhatsApp Swimming Nature has tried to gaslight us by saying there was a substitute teacher (when in fact we were at the pool and no one showed up). Classes are also sometimes canceled because of issues with the pool. Swimming nature refuses to provide a refund on these occasions and instead offers extra classes at times that are inconvenient for a child in school.
Update: they have reached out to me and seem to be looking into improving their consumer service.

Amanda has taught all three of my children at different times and levels. She is fun and engaging and their swimming has progressed much more than at other swim schools. Medal week is always the highlight of the term and my kids love being rewarded with badges too.

Having just taken over Angela’s swim school they really have let things go badly. Price increases, frequent changes of staff and now reduced the number of teachers to one in the pool with mixed abilities which is a real health and safety risk.

Generally a good level of teaching BUT:
- Very frequent and last minute teacher changes
- Unreasonably frequent and last minute lesson cancellations (last half term alone FOUR out of SIX lessons were cancelled)
- Terrible customer service - with the exception of brilliant Roza Bakhtar, who frequently went above and beyond

The frequent cancellations and changes are really disruptive and unsettling for the kids. Their progress is inevitably affected and their confidence is knocked. It's been a really disappointing experience in this respect and I feel strongly that this is a company interested only in profit and not in the children's wellbeing. I really wish that we were ending our time with Swimming Nature more positively and with a feeling that we could recommend this swimming school to other people, but very sadly that's not the case.

Avoid this company at all costs. I am disappointed in every aspect, the quality of the teachers, the swimming facility and the customer services. Honestly, I was expecting a higher quality for the price, but I had approximately £400 wasted for my two kids as they didn’t want to continue and the customer services were very inflexible.

We tried several places before to teach our kids how to swim and it was always a disappointment. Neil C is an outstanding teacher: he managed to instill confidence to our son who is now making progress every week.

Very good teachers but impossible admin! Impossible to get hold of them on the phone, mistakes and emails often go unanswered.

Teresa is the most fantastic teacher and the reason we choose to swim with Swimming Nature. Teresa is kind, patient and listens to the child she teaches modifying to suit their needs. She is a credit to the company

I cannot recommend the investment in these classes more, complete value for money. So worth it for the outcome. My girls’ teacher Thais is amazing. Completely transformative for their water confidence and swimming ability. My 4 year old was terrified of the water and now swims confidently on her back independently and tells me how excited she is about her class and her teacher- I’m not exaggerating. My eldest is 7 and loves Thais too and is now practising and finessing her arm work and form. Highly recommend, especially if you can book Thais!

Cancelled lesson after lesson last minute and wouldn’t give us a refund

We have been coming to swimming nature for a few years now. Frankie, my son’s teacher, has been nothing short of incredible in developing his love of swimming and water confidence. She has incredible patience and skills as my son had a real phobia of water and he is now diving into the pool. It’s rare to find a swim school with such dedicated and reliable, passionate teachers. We feel really lucky to have found Frankie and can’t recommend this pool enough. The venue itself is always warm, inviting, clean and well organised. Thanks for making weekly swim lessons so lovely for my son!

I can't stress highly enough how much you should avoid this company! Cancelled our lesson two minutes before the start due to GLASS being found in the swimming pool. When we expressed our understandable concerns going forward and requested a refund as we were not happy to take the risk with our 6 year old son, we received a patronising, hugely insulting email and denied any kind of refund. I work in education so understand safeguarding very well and the standards and customer service are appalling.
