JMC Swingarm experience, never again

I also ordered a number of swingarms from JMC Swingarms. Order was for 4 x Laverda Swingarms and I paid for one up front. Order placed on the 17th Jan, 2009.
Since then, nothing.
They quoted 10-12 weeks delivery but has now been over 2 years.
Sometimes you get a reply to e-mails sent, most times you don't.
Have phoned around a dozen times, got through once, was put on hold and then nothing.

Will never deal with this company again, ever.
Resigned myself to the fact that I have lost my deposit as well.
A truely forgettable experience.

So, be aware of JMC, do a search on the internet and see the amount of comments on different bike forums worldwide where different customers have posted their experiences dealing with this company.
Is a shame as their product is top class if and when you ever get them to deliver.

Stay away from JMC swingarms

I ordered a JMC aluminium swingarm for my Laverda motorcycle at swingarm.com at the 15th of Februari 2009 and paid with credit card in advance more than 400 pounds.
Delivery estimate was 12 till 14 weeks the site said.
Got an order conformation on the 15th from John & Stephen McCarten from swingarm.com.
On the 22th of may 2009 i first phone'd (stephen was out and i had to trie another time) did this twice without result and afterthat i send an email asking how long it is going to take?
No response other than an automated conformation of my email.
On the 6th of July i got an email from Stephen McCarten that he lost my account if i would create a new one some automation problems.
I did and reply to ask howlong it was going to take, NO REPLY.
Tried again on the 8th of August 2009 and got a reply on the 14th with apologies and that it would take another 2-3 weeks to produce he was waiting for a batch of 45mm slot adjusters it was already in the production line.
Since then (14th of august 2009) i heard nothing tried several times without RESPONS.
They don't pick up the phone ore respond to mail in the end i wrote them a letter no response to that aswell.

This behavior is unacceptable they collect your money and treat you like dirt and lie to you.
If they say upfront that it will take a year to produce the arm it will be oke you'll wait for it but this is very unprofessional and will cost them customers in the long run.
I'll never recomend them to fellow Laverda club member or other motorcyclists.
read some simular experiances on other fora before you do bussiness with them.

It's now more than 2 years ago and still nothing (02-05-2011)
