Makes no sense !!
I am flying with Swiss today. I have not even boarded yet and I am struggling to get a simple piece of information out of Swiss customer service. All I want to know is what time does check-in or bag-drop open in order to drop off my checked luggage, and the best Swiss can do is tell me what the airport website states: 2 or 3 hours before, which is a big difference when I can't go through security into departures until I have dropped off my checked luggage. I then phoned Swissport - the handling agents for Swiss at BHX - only to be told that they can't tell me the time, because they have to be told when to open by Swiss and that will happen later in the day (today). Come on - really? Swiss decide today to make it 3 hours ?? Maybe Swiss could reply here and let me know what the process is and why, if it does change daily, can't they add the *exact* time check-in opens on their website: a phone call to Swissport and an update on their website - simple, no?

BCN-ZRH flight LX1955. They are phunishing people for having small bags. If you bring a small bag you have to use the room for your feeds. If you have a large suitcase you can use the locker rooms! Our youngest daughter aged 13 got a seat alone between two strangers.

They cancelled my ticket without informing me, i got an email from my agency 1 day before my travel that the "flight" was cancelled, however they only cancelled my ticket, the flight went ahead as scheduled. When I asked swiss support agents why the flight was cancelled one lied to me and said because of technical problems with the air plane.
After finding out that the flight was not cancelled later on the day, one of them told me only my ticket was cancelled. In total i think I have been on the phone with them 15 hours spread on 3 days.
After many hours on the phone they rebooked me on another flight, however i never got the tickets and the day after when they promised to send the e-tickets by email i only got booking confirmation for the return flight alone. What happened to the departure flight? The customer service is random on who helps you or not, they put you on long hold then disconnect, happened 3 times now. Couple of them just hang up on me when i explained the situation. You have to explain everything to a new person and they dont seem to have proper training or processes to follow to ensure that the customer gets the proper help.
They say that ticket issuing department will issue the tickets after 24 hours... nothing happens.
Only one guy tried really to help me and was on the phone with me for 2 hours to ensure the booking was right. But everything was for nothing because the 2 days after i still dont have any tickets.
I am very dissapointed with you Swiss and will never fly with you!

Cancelled my flight the night before departure, and then ruined my familys holiday. They offered us to rebook to a new flight 5 days(yes five DAYS) later👏👏 The customer support is awful. Avoid at all cost. Absolutely the last time I use Swiss

My baggage is missing for over a month and they are impossible to reach. Hotline is only for reservation (convenient, right?), and we cannot reach them by call to discuss anything else.
I sent an e-mail and they replied saying there would be no compensation (this was when it had been missing for 3 weeks) because my baggage was lost when I was flying home... why does this matter??? I still had to purchase many thing!
Quality decline
Travelled several times with them and most of them between business and economy +, decided to travel again after covid and the website was extremely slow to reserve anything and charged me 2 times per my luggage, I tried to contact customer service about this issue and got an automatic reply.
The reservation didn’t shown any info about measurements nor weight of the purchased luggage….
But worst is that they do not include any type of food anymore onboard. This was supposed to be an expensive company you’d chose over others for its features and pay a little extra for comfort and amenities, but… currently? I can’t spot a difference between Swiss and Ryanair, definitely not worth the price, customer service is poor and the company has lost a lot of its value by cutting services and then blaming on covid.
I do not feel like there’s any pro of paying more for a Swiss flight, and probably won’t flight with them again :/
Daniel Wirth - the worst human being
Swiss air employs the worst possible human beings. Daniel Wirth, the cabin crew lead on our flight from Zurich to Johannesburg was rude, sarcastic and threatening simply because we dared to ask if we could hang up my fiancee's wedding dress. Apparently being a decent person is reserved for people flying in business class, if you are in economy and dare to ask for a very reasonable favor you can expect abuse. On top of that they lost our luggage, refused to acknowledge a complaint made internally and are just generally awful. Don't ever fly with them guys.

Really dissappointed with what I previously considered to be an excellent company.
I have tried to reschedule a flight. The suggestions it gave me through the chatbot were reasonable. However, when I attempted to rebook it through the online "manage my flight" service all the options tried to put me on a multi-leg flight at great expense, unnecessarily.
I have been trying to speak to someone, on hold, for over 2 and a half hours so far.

More than 10 hour flight delay with baggage loss.
Only contact possibilities are filling out online claim forms that tell you to start again due to time restriction or emails to which you get no response or only automatic replies.
Telephone numbers provided are always occupied. Only info by phone was that a bag which does not belong to me had been found with my tag number. 🤷
After 8 days I still have no idea and no way of finding out where my suitcase is nor if I am ever going to get it back.
I never expected a prestigious company like Swissair to be like this.

I just received an email from CLS Express which according to Swissair was the appointed delivery agent for my missing baggage. The email said that Swissair was not their client and therefore they do not transport anything for them, that I should contact the airline company. This is nothing but fraud 😱. Unbelievable, yet believable when I read the other reviews.

20 days have passed since I last saw my suitcase when I checked it in at Narita Airport.
WorldTracerWeb shows that it is delivered because another person's bag had my tag number and this bag has been delivered. I've called without success and written asking them to at least update the information but no reaction.
Called Swissair in Japan since it looks as though they made a mistake with the Tag number, however they say that they only deal with bookings and that I should contact the Swissair agent at Berlin which I have been trying to do all the time.
I really don't understand why they cannot at least update the baggage tracer data with correct information!? Or does this WorldTracerWeb not function and therefore not worth it?

1 month and 1 day have passed since I last saw my suitcase😭 The only reaction was a reply on Twitter saying that the delivery of the baggage will be forwarded to the address provided on the report and asking me if I had received it 😑 I really wonder where all the lost baggages are 🤔

My son was supposed to participate in his grandmothers 90th birthday today at 12 pm. His flight last night was cancelled. We have no idea why, Swiss didn’t even care to inform the passengers. The only alternative he was offered by an understaffed team at the airport, who couldn’t care less, was an 8 hours‘ journey via Rome arriving at ZRH at 6pm. Much too late to join the lunch., much to late for anything. On the swiss homepage I then found two flights leaving CPH at around 7 am, arriving in ZRH at 11 am - just in time to paricipate, but those flights were not offered to him - although there were seats available and although he could have be able to make it! Why? I was then told that not all flights offered through the Swiss homepage were awailable to Swiss customer service! That is insane! Swiss, why did you deprive him the participation in his grandmother’s last big birthday? We’re all devastated, and Swiss did NOTHING, absolutely Nothing to help. They did not care, they did not try to find a solution. In a few hours two planes are going to leave Copenhagen with empty seats, and my son is not going to be on it. Shame on you Swiss. I am so disappointed in your lousy cutomer service. You don’t take us anywhere! You don’t care!
Travellers beware. NEVER travel with Swiss Air
Having travelled the globe over many years we have never experienced such bad service as we have from this group.
After booking a months breakaway to see our daughter and new granddaughter in Thailand and jumping through the many covid related and bureaucratic hoops to get there, a week before we travelled i checked “ manage my booking” to find all six of our flights had been deleted. We had no emails or communication from the company
After some very anxious hours and lengthy phone calls to Swiss Air we were reinstated on our original flights. We were told because we had not responded to an e mail from them changing our flights that they had deleted them. This would prove to be one of many fictitious e mails.
A week before our flight home once againI checked “ manage my booking” to find the first of the 3 flights had been deleted. I had to enlist the help of family back in England to help with the long phone calls. On a daily basis the flight was deleted and reinstated with no good reason given. Our stress levels at this point went through the roof and ruined the last week of the holiday.
When we arrived at the airport we were not on the flight!!!
To add to our problems my husband has MotorNeurone Disease and relies on his motorised scooter to get around. We checked before booking with the airline that it would be ok to take the scooter and have an email from them to say that he could take it. A week before we were due to travel we were told he couldnt take it. At this point it was too late to change the bookings. Stressful doesnt begin to cover it!,,,
To date we have had no communication from this company let alone any apologies.
I tell everyone who will listen NEVER to travel with this company.

When Omicron hit, and everyone crapped the bed, they told me I'd need to be vaccinated & quarantine in Switzerland for 10 days in transit (despite a negative test).
My credit card company (MBNA) didn't even bother to phone me, but they certainly made sure I was uploading endless documents.
