Bad quality product

Quality at this outfit has tanked big time... bought recently an R47 -- complete waste of money... various problems with the calculator, with crap (read ZERO) customer support/service. Avoid like the plague. They will never see another dime from me.

Outstanding calculators good service

I bought a DM42 in 2019, just installed the latest firmware, which worked flawlessly. The best calculator got just a bit better.
In 2020 the keypad cover of my DM41 got loose, I got a new cover sent for free.
If you miss the old HP calculators, these are much better replacements.

Little pricey but good

Was fascinated by the idea of the classic HP calculators for years and eventually a couple of month ago ordered a DM16L via Amazon. Sadly had a 4/5 "dead" always on LCD pixels but due to location barely perceptible when in use. Got instant use trying to diagnose some software on a 16/32 bit "retro" computer, and knowing it's a programmer's calculator capable of working with 64-bit math make me think how advanced the HP original was. Had such a good experience I decided to get a DM15L a week or two later so I can use sine, cosine and tangent calculations with the same "mindset". Metal back plate gives sturdiness and a sense they'll last for years if not decades, though the "quick reference" printing on the back shells is perhaps not in the best contrasting colour. Minor niggle. Easily my favourite calculators I've ever had.

SwissMicros offer fantastic calculators and wonderful service

SwissMicros make calculators based on the Voyager series of calculators originally produced by Hewlett-Packard from about 1979 onwards. These were fantastic calculators, loved by scientists, engineers and financial professionals. Sadly, the HP original calculators have become very difficult to get and are very expensive on eBay.

SwissMicros make replica HP calculators, exact replicas that are very close to the originals. The SwissMicros calculators are metal construction and functionally identical to the HP models.

I ordered their DM15L model, a replica of the venerable HP 15C. About 10 minutes after ordering the calculator I received a dispatch confirmation email. The calculator arrived two working days later, and that’s travelling from Switzerland to the UK.

Their service, so far, has been incredible. I really can not recommend SwissMicros highly enough. I would definitely buy from them again. Their calculator is fantastic and their service is second to none!
