Well, what can I say, this the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. The ordering process is so difficult, I ordered the kit in Nov 25, with delivery march. Nothing not even and e mail to say what the problem was. I finally got hold of them only to be told my order is now due may. Who knows when I’ll get this order but they’ve taken all my £900 disgusting

I needed a couple small items and I could not find them. I wrote a quick note and they not only had them, they sent them to me. Swytch has a new vibe and is very responsive. The management is listening and has become very proactive in helping the customer. Big thumbs up on the new positive direction!

There was a minor issue with the SWYTCH kit and I have to say that customer service was exemplary. Despite it being an emerging company, the support I was given was second to none. The fault was diagnosed quickly and without delay, a replacement part was sent cost free. It absolutely did the trick. Throughout the experience, the advisors, especially Ksenia, were efficient, courteous and genuinely keen to resolve the issue. Customer service as it should be.

I was initially really impressed that a company was being quite innovative in producing these kits. The kit took about six months to arrive. When my kit did arrive I was initially disappointed. The wheel wouldn’t fit, they had sent me a back wheel with a front wheel kit. The reason for the four stars is their AI customer service. It replied informing me I had a front wheel kit with a back wheel and then I heard nothing. I waited the suggested 7 days and still nothing. I emailed again replying to the AI asking for help then waited again. Finally I started to panic that I had paid a lot of money for a kit that that wasn’t ever going to work. Eighteen days after my initial email, i started a new support ticket, listing my original number, demanding help from a human.
Finally a human got in touch. He was amazing, organised for a free return immediately, a new wheel was organised and arrived within a week. I have yet to get it fitted but I can tell it’s the correct fit.
The moral of this story, is ignore the AI help and demand a human to help you.

Update:I have now fitted the kit, what a fantastic product, it has added the extra boost I wanted to my heavy mountain bike. The hills of Cornwall prove very little challenge now. I can use the controls to add as much or as little power as I want. I’m very impressed. It is well worth the money and will recommend to friends and family. I also received a helmet as part of the deal, it’s brilliant, very comfortable with lights including indicators.

Thank you to Jake and Kensia for eventually sorting everything. I think maybe you don’t need the AI.

Altogether happy over the years with Swytch. Had a broken magnet ring and no quibble, replacement was sent. Ready for more happy commuting!

I feel it is very distressing that you cannot speak to somebody at the point of ordering. I would have really liked to have talked it through with somebody instead. I felt I was taking a gamble.

However , as my friend has a couple of these switch kits , he said they were great , but he did warm me that the instructions were very unhelpful.

I consider myself to be pretty practical but it took me about four hours start to finish to fit the kit , including checking the brake's worked and were lined up nicely snd the cables were clipped away.

Despite these things, I am really enjoying using the kit and glad I upgraded to the more sophisticated speedometer. Overall, really enjoying it.

Horrible purchase. Something went wrong during every single step of the installation, causing me to set the project down for a couple of YEARS due to frustration, thinking it was due to my own limited amount of bike repair knowledge. Since I’ve picked it back up again, in hopes of finally being able to use the Swytch on my bike, I’ve needed assistance from a bike shop with everything. The bike shop attendant helping me was very unimpressed with the quality of the materials used for the wheel.

My advice: either hire a professional to do the conversion for you (if they even will, as many will not), or just save your money and buy an e-bike. Don’t bother with this nonsense.

VERY POOR....U will not be able to get hold of a human being if you get a problem. Customer service is NON EXISTENT. A good company gone extremely bad. AVOID AVOID AVOID

This is the 2nd SwytchBike wheel I have installed, and this install went terrifically smoothly. The directions were easy to follow and accurate. I will continue to recommend SwytchBike to my friends and family!

We waited about a month from order to delivery, but putting it together was straightforward enough but did look at the YouTube clips to help, took about two hours to fit. When riding it gave good pedal assist on the flat and uphill and it’s completely street legal, which was a bonus. The biggest battery, which we have is quite heavy but don’t notice that once you are riding.

The swift quibble free solution to the problems I was experiencing was excellent. Great customer service. Thanks Swytch!

Swytchbike Go+ front wheel kit.
I've had this kit for exactly a year and it's been fantastic. The kit was used on a very old Boardman MTB 26 inch wheel with disk rotor. No issues at all, getting close to 1000miles on the clock. Would recommend the optional OLED screen, if I had to do it again I would have ordered the larger battery Go++ (wind and hills have an effect on the range figures!) and the faster charger. Other than that been very happy!

I ordered a swytch based on the make/model of my bike. I messaged the company before i spent money. They assured me it would be perfect. When I put it together it was NOT compatible. I ended up buying another bike to fit the swytch. I cycled the monsal trail in 1 direction but had to work with a flat battery on the way back. The components were flimsy and after 3 weeks of use the magnetic pull needed readjusting again and again. I paid £600 for the swytch plus £540 for another bike. I also had to buy another tyre. I live in a hilly city and became fed up with it working intermittently so sold the kit for a fraction on ebay. I bought a proper E mountain bike since which is fantastic and gets me up very steep northern hills without heart failure. I would never recommend this company. Save your money, folks.

Having installed my Swytch conversion kit it has transformed my bike!
The order process was challenging: I couldn't see any way to review my order one it had been submitted. The delivery forecast was continually extended until I asked to cancel the order and refund when I was given a small refund and complementary accessory - and the order appeared to be expedited. However, it was supplied with the wrong size motor wheel and I was charged a fee to ship the exchange. Because I couldn't see details of my original order I couldn't check if I had ordered the wrong size or if was a mistake by Swytch. I suspect it was a company error because other components were Brompton-specific, and not appropriate to my Carrera folding bike.
The AI support was not helpful.
BUT, when I did eventually make contact with a human the customer support experience was amazing. It was as though I had a project manager overseeing my order to get it right! It feels as if I might still be waiting if it wasn't for the input and support of Ksenia a Senior Customer Service Advisor.

Product I got was faulty but they replaced it immediately. Customer service was good.

Hi, my kit stopped working even though the battery was charged (showing a flashing light at the bottom of the battery level display). The AI responses are actually pretty helpful in identifying the most likely problems (and is very quick). In the end I had to speak to an adviser who identified that the display wasn't working - and were happy to provide a replacement even though the warranty had expired. This took a few days to sort out (and this could be quicker).

Thanks Jake, the new mount arrived on Friday and just got it installed. It works great and shows the speed. Two of our friends just got new bikes, I told them about Swytch and they have ordered 2 kits . . . Thanks again Jake . . . .

Most excellent support

Great support experience. The support team are obviously very busy ..management get more support people!..but I got great help! I wanted to change my order after delivery and the team were enormously helpful with return and replacement. Well done Knesia and team!

I recently received my Swytch eBike kit and after installing it, I’m very happy with the results. The kit works perfectly and has transformed my regular bike into a smooth and enjoyable eBike experience. Installation was straightforward, and the performance has met my expectations.

There were delays with my order, which was understandably frustrating, but I want to recognize the customer support team for staying responsive and helping address my concerns. They also followed through on their goodwill gesture, which I appreciated.

Now that everything has arrived and is up and running, I’m genuinely pleased with the product and the overall outcome. Thank you to the Swytch team for the support and for delivering a product that performs well.

I'd read mixed reviews about Swytchbike - less about the product and more about the time delays etc. But wanted to give it a go as it ticked a lot of boxes.
I ordered the kit in March, was told up-front to expect it in August and it arrived in early June. Around 3 months after the first order.
I'm a complete novice, but the set-up and installation was easy, the manual was clear and I had it up and running in a few hours. It was actually much easier than I'd expected.
Overall, really happy with the product, how it works, and how easy it all was. Appreciate the lead time might be off-putting for some, but for me the end result has worked great.
