I do not recommend

I do not recommend! I registered - confirmed. After some time, my tooth started to hurt, I went to the consultation, they did an X-ray of one tooth. They found out that I had canceled my membership. They asked me to answer questions. Who behaves like this? How can I know what will happen?!? Is it necessary to cancel the membership and then they ask me to pay for almost the full 3 months????? I'm sorry, but you can't behave like this! The communication from their side is very rude and not based on work!

Not inclusive

I have been a member for years. I recently contacted "danmark" sygeforsikring about an inquiry I had and got this response:
"We are a Danish member-owned association and have taken the decision to use Danish exclusively in our written communication in a move to reduce administrative costs.
We trust you will understand this and will be able to locate someone who can help you with a translation."

I get it, you don't have to respond in English, but it was not an obstacle before, which made me stay and trust "danmark" sygeforsikring more. Understendably, I am very dissapointed.

Of course, we do wish to disappoint our members, but our focus is on ensuring that our members overall get at least 90% of their membership payment in return as subsidies for treatments and medicine. This is why we prioritize very precisely, and why we also have the industry's lowest operating costs.

As a Danish insurance company only operating in Denmark, "danmark" has chosen not to spend resources on communicating in writing in multiple languages. Today, there are many easily accessible and free tools that members can use if they want messages translated.

We hope for your understanding of this prioritization, which is intended to benefit members as much as possible.

Be careful

I become a member and over the period i was thinking i am covered so i used that coverage to use various services.

They covered it and after 1-2 years they said that i have to provide my health journal which they also couldn’t take and i had to do all the work

Anyway the experience is wasted time and money if you pay them make sure you have no demand otherwise you will be kicked out and here we don’t talk about huge amount but imagine if the case was bigger

Lack of customer service is the bonus

Never gonna be a member of this again in my life

Systemet blev dysfunktionelt fra den 4. april.

Jeg er akupunktør hos foreningen Praktiserende Akupunktører.De sagde først, at foreningen havde opsagt mit medlemskab. Så lukkede min online registrering. Kunder kan ikke modtage refusion efter behandling.
Da jeg åbnede igen via telefon, er alle danica pensions kunders behandlingsgebyrer blevet nægtet at blive betalt til mig og kunderne. Jeg sendte 2 e-mails i træk og fik intet svar i en uge.

Not worth it

You pay a whole lot of money, only get a tiny amount of money back for anything, their employees have a bad tendency to talk over you when you are genuinly confused and wish to have something explained. This is actually some of the worst experience I have had with an insurance so far. I will not recommend people to sign up for this insurance and will sign myself out as soon as possible.

It only costs DKK 99 per quarter to maintain your membership with the option after 12 months to choose another group with larger subsidies if you at some point get sick and need medicine or medical treatment, even though the success criterion for insurance is hopefully not needing it. To become a new member of "denmark" you must fulfill health requirements and you can unsubscribe after 12 months at the self-service at sygeforsikring.dk. It's of course entirely up to you and we have registered your comments as we're very aware of providing both professional and kind service to our members.

A bunch of rude customer service

A bunch of rude customer service. If they hear you speaking English they just immediately close in your face. But apparently they have no problem taking my foreigner money. How about hire some competent people who are bilingual instead of acting so rude and unprofessional?

Update to their response: oh LORD I cannot believe their snobbish response. Are you that dense not to know that you can have danish cpr and residence without speaking danish? For some foreigners it takes some time to learn fluent danish, are they not worthy of support help just because they dont speak danish? Yet they pay the same as a DANISH PERSON??? Well I hope at least foreign people are aware now with this review that they will be getting the ignore treatment from Sygeforskriking if they dont speak danish. You should state in your policy that you only want danish speaking people as your customers.

UPDATE 2: several languages? Nobody said anything about several languages, I only mentioned english, which is like the bare minimum language companies should speak nowadays, it is mandatory since middle school as far as I know, and it is international. You tried to be cheeky, but you failed once again. Theres no excuse why your employees dont speak english when so many other danish companies do.

Data breach alert!

In a recent membership dispute case that I requested “danmark” to send me my data under GDPR rule, surprisingly found out that the data belongs to other members was distributed to me. On top, lots of my data was missing. It took back and forth communication for 5 months to finally get my data so as to start the complaint with a 3rd party.

Strongly recommend existing members do a data check!

Terrible experience!

Terrible experience!
They put you in a special group without reason, and then you never get any money back, just a waste of money.
Typical insurance system who just want to make sure you don't have any treatment to refund so you pay for nothing.
It's almost 2 months I'm asking to cancel my policy and they don't do it nor answer to me, just send me extra fees invoices, i'm wondering if their system is not made on purpose.

In general I would say enroll if you plan to change glasses and get a lot of vaccinations during a year and then unsubscribe as it's completely useless insurance.
