Sytner (Swindon) are an impressive car supermarket. Their facilities in Swindon are very impressive. The people who do the car preparations are awesome. If you see a car for sale and can see scratches or marks, don't be put off the car will look brand new when you get there. 5 stars for car prep.
The problem is they are driven to sell to people who will agree to financing their cars. On the plus side they do appear to PX anything as long as you are happy to take much less than your car is worth.
It isn't just Sytner, it seems the car market is now a non-negotiable market where sales people would rather you walk away unless you are willing to buy the car their way. They do offer cars for good prices, but I'd also seen the same car and spec for better prices.
So if you have tens of thousand of pounds in your pocket and think you'll be able to convince them to sell you are car, give it a go.

I was looked after Jay on the shop floor initially and I cannot thank him enough for his help and advice. We looked at loads of different vehicles and I settled on an Audi A6 which I absolutely love. I was then passed on to Joe who was just as helpful. Nothing was a hassle and I was made to feel that I was the most important customer there. I would recommend this company without hesitation. These two members of staff are a credit to your business.

Spoke to Synter Northampton about a vehicle that was in Swindon and was told if we paid the £99 reservation fee they would get the car to Northampton for us and we would receive a call within three to five days to say it would be in Northampton for us to go and have a look and go for a test drive.
So we paid the reservation fee straight away and within minutes the car we were interested had reserved on it and the money was debited from our account.
So on day 5 I called Northampton and asked if the car was there for us to go and have a look, after a few minutes on hold the guy came back to me a told us the vehicle had been sold by Swindon.
How on earth had that happened when we we paid the reservation fee. Northampton couldnt tell me why so I called Swindon and got no answers and was told someone would call back which has never arrived.
After two calls later chasing my £99 reservation fee it was eventually paid 11 days later.
Really bad CS doesn’t reply when they say they will or a day! Can’t get hold of anyone to get my £99 deposit back !!

Shambles and a bit of 'The Office' vibe to the place.
Poor communication and ability to share information on general questions is lacking. Manager winging information and happy to go off on phone calls 4-5 times during a specific car demo. Some would call them a 'blagger'.
The sales and aftercare is poor and no one seems to know what they are doing between them. We have been left with more questions than answers and not felt like a valued customer. Why is Shaley the only person with answers who happens to never be available - a one person team.
We were very keen on a purchase right away, however, despite the keenness to welcome us to the numbers talk (even this was clumsy). The final straw.
If you want advice or an actual standard level of customer service, go elsewhere.

NI purchased an Omeda9 at SYTNER, SWINDON on the 3rd February. TO DATE I'VE SENT THEM 12 MESSAGES, NEARLY ONE EACH DAY WHERE I GET A RESPONSE FROM THEM VIA THEIR AUTOMATED SYSTEM SAYING THAT THEY WILL RETURN MY CALL WITHIN 48Hrs. WE'LL IT'S THE 16TH FEB NOW & I STILL WAITING! I STILL WAITING FOR THE 230VOLT domestic charger cable that was promised to be shipped to my home address! No mention or arrangements were made to transfer the Omoda warranty into my name! The cars SatNav needs registering into my name and I was assured that "Nothing needed doing from my end" Now the cars systems are sluggish and take an age to work and the SatNav is NOT WORKING CORRECTLY! THE SALES MANAGER Nathan Rimmer made lots of promises to but even on the journey home the car had NO Windscreen Washer Fluid, the cars battery level was at 8%!! Tyre pressures were all variable by 4 or 5 psi! The cars oil level was just on the minimum level! Car was showing a Service was due in 350 miles! Having spent some £37k I have clearly not got what was promised. As an ex Service Manager for two large international companies I'm well aware of my legal position & unless Messrs Sytner at Swindon address these issues, then I can expect litigation between us to take place. This is a disgusting abuse, and the cars identification document from Sytner showed all the inspection levels etc were blank, but meaning the car had not been inspected or recieved the Sytner Claimed 150 Point Check! That's why there was no Washer Fluid etc. So be warned of Vehicles being sold with verbal promises that are not forfilled and non existent guarantees! I await SYTNERS RESPONSE TO THIS METHOD OF CONTACT! SYTNERS AUTOMATED SYSTEM IS CLEARLY NOT WORKING OR THEY JUST DON'T RESPOND TO ANY COMPLAINTS ONCETHEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. I eventually recieved a response from the Sales Manager @ Messrs Sytner, Swindon. To say I am unhappy with the response is an understatement. No Apologies only excuse after excuse! The charging cable that was promised to be delivered to me in 24 to 48hrs is still sitting in the Swindon depot! Having asked the question prior to purchase about never having such a complex computerised system on a car before, would you like I have to register anything with Omoda, or any other company, I was assured 'No, we at SYTNER will ensure everything is done for you. ' I now find that the car does have to be registered online & being 70yrs old and not very PC literate, I now find that it does need quite a complex registration that has so far defeated me. Sytner answer to this is that I should contact Omoda who should help me resolve the issue. No mention that they had deliberately lied to me at the point of sale assuring me that they would ensure that the car would be set-up for me! Absolutely NO HELP OR ASSISTANCE OFFERED TO ME! THE sales Manager refuted that the vehicle had not been inspected properly or prepared for sale despite the Battery Level of being at 8% on my test drive then going down to 6% on the journey home causing a "Warning" to telling me to STOP. After making adjustment to settings at a Service Station the batteries started to accept a charge. No mention of how the car needed nearly 3 Litres of Windscreen Washer Fluid, or why the vehicles tyres were 4 to 5 PSi different! No mention of how the OIL Level was on the minimum level on the Dipstick? I found a Sytner inspection Certificate in the car that was not completed, the Sales Manager continued to ignore all the problems and did not even apologise! Every failing or complaint was evaded or ignored with the comment that I should reach out to Omoda for help! As far as I remember, I the onus is on the "Seller to address and rectify these issues" I have no faith in Messrs Sytner who had clearly told me anything to close the deal. I am angry and annoyed with the lack of apology, lack of admission that anything could have been done better, but or could have been avoided. The most annoying part of my conversation with the Sales Manager was the complete lack of any admission to any failings on their part. I would like to return the car to them as this is not what was agreed or what I was told that I was buying. I was lied to, I was given incorrect information to get me to buy the car & now they have been found out they want to ignore all my complaints. Having been a Service Manager with 2 multi-national companies I cannot believe that this is how Sytner treat their customers. Let this be a warning to any prospective buyers. JS.

I brought a Geely EX5 from here and Chaylee Scotto has been a please to deal with from day one. Chaylee has been very attentive from when I placed the order and even now with my queries. I would give Chaylee 5 stars but unfortunately on handover day Chaylee was off and the handover was a shambles thats why I'm only giving Sytner in general 4 stars
