Abysmal. Broadband tv not working for 2 days. Almost impossible to get a response from EE. Booked an engineer visit for today and no show. Eventually got a call from BT saying their engineer would att... See more

If there is 0 stars I would have given it
If there is 0 stars I would have given that, I have pay my bills even the WiFi is not working, because I’m bounded by contract
Very dissatisfied customer, amongst the very many!!!
Took a contract out in November 2024, it has recently come to light that I have unknowingly been paying approx £20 plus too much for the last 15 months. Our local branch discovered it when I went in to discuss another matter. It appears that the branch that set up the contract didn’t take off the available discount at the time. After several visits to my local branch who contacted Head Office while we were there it was finally decided they would re-imburse by reducing my monthly payment until the over charge was cleared. I wanted a refund which amounted to £340.00 not a monthly reduction. I have to go into the local store (again)so I can speak directly to Head Office.I am 81 with mobility issues and had 2 hospital admissions in May. I rang Head Office myself today and now being told I have no refund due!! The manager in the local branch has been brilliant and had a lot of patience trying to sort this issue out. Head office are saying I had a phone call after 21 days of signing up, I haven’t a clue what that would have been about and very conveniently EE has deleted the content of that call!!
Falsely sold additional line
I was sold an additional line under the pretense that this was a better deal for my existing line. I am autistic and find it incredibly stressful speaking to people on the phone so I was extremely upset to find out that I had been lied to. They did cancel the extra line when I contacted again, but I still feel like i was intentionally misled just so they can boost their sales numbers given that I mentioned to several staff during the process that I wanted a better deal (not an extra line).
And the reason I mentioned this ti several staff? Because its almost impossible to get to speak to the right person. You ring 150 and they put you through to a chat swrvice, who then spends ages going through security to tell you theyre going to put you through to another team, who does the same and then says you need to speak to someone on the phone.... by which point its been around an hour of going through the same questions with multiple people who are also trying to upsell you.
The app also makes no sense and is confusing to navigate and there is no clear way to keep track of what you are paying - it shows your most recent bill but does not seem to have older bills to check or what your current deal is (when I was given the extra line it did not tell me anywhere how much i was going to be paying, I only knew I had an extra line because a new number appeared on my account). Honestly the only reason I haven't changed provider is i feel trapped because I know if I ring to cancel they'll offer me deals (which will probably be falsely advertised as well) to keep me with them and I wont be able to be assertive enough
I wouldn't even give it a 1 but it…
I wouldn't even give it a 1 but it won't let me write on here otherwise . EE have been charging my terminally ill dad for 2 x broadband since november last year . EE door knockers came and changed the broadband but didn't cancel the old one I have called 4/5times now trying to sort this out .my call on the 15th of may said they were sending a cheque out for his refund and would arrive within 7-10 days .I called again on 2nd of June as it was past the 10 days. I was passed to 3 different people and the last person says there is no refund .I have a case number where all these details are suppose to be kept. The lady promised to call me back but never did . I call again today to be told that the computers are not working and to call back in 2 hours . I am very disappointed in this company as my did is not a well man and if I wasn't sorting this out for him they would probably still be taking money from his account 😡🤬
Long story but ill keep it short
Long story but ill keep it short. Bought a phone and new contract. Along with an upgrade from the ee store in trafford. Was offered a smart watch for a quid a month. Some sort of promotion. Which i took. No brainer right? Any found out a few months later they have been charging me 20 poumds a month. They will not accept that this has happened. So i will be taking my business elsewhere. Daylight robbery.
Chat bot got me into circular messages
Chat bot got me into circular messages. RUBBISH bot.
2 hours later I had got nowhere. But I was ****ed off.
Try the phone 150 and you get the bot.
Try the alternative phone number and you get back to the bot 😕
This maybe the best connection but it's CERTAINLY the worst customer service
Been with EE since the start when it…
Been with EE since the start when it was Hutchinson telecom then orange over 40 years in total.this is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with poor coverage price hikes and broken promises.well no more 2 phone contracts cancelled and broadband cancelled. Quite possibly the worst performing company on the planet.makes me laugh when they say award winning service on the TV quite laughable
They give NO respect for customer…
They give NO respect for customer loyalty.
Will be moving very soon as my contract runs out.
Check comparison sites. They are the modern day Highway Robbers.
My broadband contract with BT is ending…
My broadband contract with BT is ending on 12 May 2026, so today I went with my son to the EE store in Stratford Mall to ask if I could receive any offer as a loyal customer of over 4 years, and then decide whether to stay or leave.
From the beginning, I clearly explained that I had already found a better offer with Sky for 900 Mbps broadband at £32 per month on a 2-year contract. During the visit, staff started accessing my accounts without proper explanation and insisted on discussing services unrelated to my request, despite me clearly stating what I wanted.
I felt pressured into offers I did not ask for, and my preferences were ignored. This is especially concerning given my previous experiences with EE, where my contract was changed without my consent and my signature was falsified — a situation I have already escalated to the Ombudsman.
As a loyal customer, I expected transparency and respect, not pressure and misleading behaviour. Unfortunately, this experience confirms a pattern of unprofessional conduct.
Based on my experience, I would advise others to be cautious when visiting certain EE stores, as I have encountered similar tactics in multiple locations.
Customers should be able to choose the offers advertised without being pushed into something else. After this experience, I have lost trust and will not return.
Staff accessed both my BT account and my EE account, even though I had only requested an offer for BT, and I insisted that no changes be made because I have other complaints in progress for similar reasons. The staff member assisting us, upon realizing that we did not accept a so-called “fake” offer, left us and walked toward the manager without saying anything. We got up and left feeling unsafe, as I did not feel secure during the interaction.
As evidence, I recorded the conversation because there was no acknowledgment of any mistakes during or after the visit.
Maybe they should change their name from EE to PP (Pi** Poor)
Took out a business plan for 2 esims one of which was set up with an existing number. They sent out the sims with no indication of which one was assigned despite my request to do so. Trying to ring their customer services technical department was two calls to a call centre (which i am guessing is in India) which resulted in no help whatsoever. I am minded to cancel the plan. Sort it out EE.
AVOID EE at all costs.
AVOID EE at all costs.
I have been a customer for the last 8 years. My wifi drops continuously and aside from sending me an engineer after countless trips to the store in Richmond where I got sold a new contract last September the issue is not resolved. I went to the store once again yesterday being Saturday and the last resort is to get a new router. I have to spend hours on the phone with customer services as the staff cannot help. How is this possible after paying religiously every single month for 8 years. I am overpaying so very close to cancel the contract and going elsewhere if this is not solved soon. Money grabbing and awful customer service.
EE still harassing and threatening me after cancellation
EE sent me a threatening letter by post. I cancelled my business account first week in January, on the phone, because I had never been able to log into my account. I spent four hours on the phone with EE (various assistants) and was eventually assured it was cancelled.
Today (February) EE sent me a demand for settlement – they were still billing me! They also threatened to affect my credit rating. How dare they!
Bad in my opinion
1) Mobile app should show balance
2) User shold have an free access to the mobile app even if data lost/no money to top up
3) user should ve able pay with mobile app
4) Consultant in the branch didn't know about EE's plans. I had to proove him with web site
5) Xonsultant in the branch didn't want help me configure plan because i do not buy anything.
Awful, not useful.
AVOID
I would strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs.
My experience has been nothing short of appalling. I was repeatedly given inaccurate information by both representatives and the sales team, which I now believe was simply to secure a sale. As a result of misleading information and broken promises, I have been left in a very difficult financial position.
On multiple occasions I was told completely different things by different members of staff. Promised call-backs were never actioned, and there appears to be a complete lack of internal communication or accountability. It is deeply concerning that no one seems to know what they are doing, and there is no consistency in the advice provided.
I raised a formal complaint, only for it to be closed without any proper resolution or meaningful investigation. The handling of the complaint process was just as disappointing as the initial service.
I have spent an extraordinary amount of time on the phone trying to rectify issues that were not of my making — including having to call them on my birthday — which only adds to the frustration and stress this situation has caused.
I have now submitted a Subject Access Request and will be escalating my unresolved complaint to the Communications Ombudsman.
Save your time, money, and peace of mind. If you are considering using this company, do not. If you are currently tied into a service, I strongly recommend that you do not renew
E.E. A bad joke
Tried to contact EE Mobile, about my intention to leave-2 mobiles, they offered me a deal to stay, unlimited minutes/texts, 30GB for £10 per month for each phone.
Contacted 150- a complete waste of time, no wonder they have a very bad reputation. All I want is to talk to a human being and accept the deal. 150 IS A BAD JOKE, only silly messaging which does not allow me to accept the deal.Messenger is same. Just reels of BS.
MY nos are 074851**66* and 07734 910***
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Been a customer with them since one-to-one. Not anymore! Shocking under-hand methods. And very very very expensive. Check out the other companies. There’s just no comparison.
Absolutely the worst company I have had…
Absolutely the worst company I have had to deal with on a sim only deal. sending messages to a phone no we no longer use so we don’t receive them and sending us bills that we now have to pay before they will close account 7 mths after we wanted it closed.
I won’t use them again and will not cancel my broadband too.
confusing difficult…
What a shady confusing difficult company.
Horrible
So wack v bad
BIG CON
I’ve been a re customer as far back to when it was called ‘one to one’. My phone needs repaired (screen problems) under a year so should be warranty. A small nick on phone frame means warranty invalid… years of loyalty means nothing to this company.
