Abysmal. Broadband tv not working for 2 days. Almost impossible to get a response from EE. Booked an engineer visit for today and no show. Eventually got a call from BT saying their engineer would att... See more

Overcharging me!! Extremely poor signal
Overcharging me!!! I added my husband about 14 months after my ee mobile sim only contract started. I was paying £12 a month. After adding my husband we got a 30% multi line discount paying approx £26 in total a month. My husband then ended his contract due to no signal for a week and the discount came off. EE started charging my £18 a month stating the discount came off!! Anyone with half a brain cell knows I should revert to paying £12 a month!!! Absolutely disgusting and rip offs.
DUPED BY EE
Due to having a very poor internet connection with BT I was advised to move to EE with no extra cost incurred. We do not use the TV service and are now paying £20 a month for something we don't want which includes Netflix and Now. I Rang up for an explanation and after being cut off 3 times I was told - you should always read the contract and we can't or do not want to help you. We are pensioners and cannot afford this! DO NOT USE EE/BT, WE HAVE TO VOTE WITH OUR FEET!
Bad day
My daughter has just moved into a new house and signed up to EE Internet service. We were sent a recondioned mini hub, the Internet is poor, she was on the phone forever trying to sort it out .The Internet tonight is still rubbish and we can't use the fire stick for tv
Money taken-no phone delivered
My son ordered a phone from EE last week. They credit checked him online, sent him digital agreement to sign and took £30 upfront payment.
A week later still no phone delivered. He called them today to be told that the credit agreement hasn’t gone through. The agent couldn’t understand why as my son’s credit is good.
She reordered his phone to be delivered next working day.
My son then had to pay a further £30 and told he would need to wait up to 10 days for refund of the original payment even though it was EE’s error. Furthermore, the colour he wanted is no longer in stock so had to settle for a substitute.
This is unacceptable EE, I have logged a formal complaint with you which I am waiting for your response.
My son-who is not experienced enough when dealing with incompetent companies-should not have had to pay a further £30 due to EE’s error and also given compensation as a gesture of goodwill and decent customer service for your mess up resulting in him not getting the phone he originally ordered.
EE the account number in question is: 221996310
Order number: 0044732828
Absolutely disgusting customer service!
Absolutely disgusting customer service!
Unhelpful, the issue never was resolved... the staff lie to customers!!
There has been a fraudulent request put on my account by EE staff!! Called customer service and was told they are unable to help as they can't access customer accounts to help them!! What a F-cking joke!!
Customer service agent lied about…
Customer service agent lied about dates/waiting to renew so I ended up being stuck with two bills! The next customer service refused to honour what previous agent said/gave instructions despite conversation being recorded on chat and screenshots! No reliability and no accountability! After 10 years of being loyal customer I had enough! Switching all my numbers over.
Oh and while talking through chat they bounce you from agent to agent asking you same questions over and over not to have to lift the finger about fixing it!
EE app
Still no action on this matter. Apparently EE did read my trustpilot review. And replyed with contract EE,to have is matter sorted.
Now still having to call EE to get balance of data, and bill payments details. Informed that l may need a new SIM card. And take self and phone on two hour round trip by bus, £6:00 in Fares. To nearest EE Shop. Up to date of this review spoken to five people. Why EE can't send a new SIM directly to myself. I suppose they a need the £1:10p stamp money, IF EE READ THIS HOW ABOUT YOU CONTACTING ME. AND SEND A NEW SIM CARD.
Overcharged direct debit payment
Last six weeks have been a nightmare
November I placed Order over the phone for phone only upgrade but sim and phone got placed EE fault and honestly three times this happened……In the end went into EE shop on 23rd December the correct order was placed. I’ve spent hours on the phone With EE the past six weeks been very frustrating and it’s got worst the 6th January when they had taken a payment of £697 from my account when I noticed this honestly made me feel sick to the stomach and made my account overdrawn just after Christmas too.
Then to be told I Need to wait till 26th January when my new bill will be produced and my account will be in credit as charges will be taken off then.
Honestly absolutely terrible regret getting the new phone
Will definitely not be renewing in the future.
Never experienced anything like this.
Do not get contract umlimited date…
Do not get contract umlimited date contract deal with this company, on paper speed is awesome in reality indoors speed is crap ,even that tower is just 300-400 m away , customer service is shit they tricky b..t...ds. away at any cost. In commercial is saying most reliable mobile network is a joke , in day time if I am at home , I can not even open Facebook market advert, at night is works well.
Avoid this scam.
EE/BT
EE/BT, are providing a disgraceful service loyal customers who have been with them for a long time are being locked out of their broadband account due to some technical issues apparently, this as been going on for months now and they are supposed to be the nations favourite broadband provider. I will not be staying with EE and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to the next doors cat, because they can't even be bothered to sort anything out even though they say they will, so if you are thinking of moving to EE don't bother unless you like pulling your own hair out with frustration as you'll be treated like a fool like the rest of us. Come on EE get the issue sorted once and for all!!!?
They boast they have the best phone…
They boast they have the best phone signal in the UK
Well I can boast they don't and it is absolutely shite
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone
Strongly recommend any other network
Strongly recommend any other network. Signal is appalling and customer service won't provide any invoices. currently paying for two contracts as their sales team lied. will be looking to pay for a third contract with any other network to be able to operate my business again. Worst experience possible.
No accountability for missing items
Ordered a pair of Apple Airpod 4s with noise cancellation. EE don't offer click and collect so these were sent to my home address, but the delivery driver left the parcel in the un-manned foyer of my flats, in full view of the street, and they were stolen before I returned home from work that day. ParcelForce (also a 1* company) advised that I make a claim through EE, so I did. I submitted plenty of evidence that I did not receive the item, including a crime reference number after reporting the theft to the police, but EE refuse to take accountability and have advised me to try and claim the money back through my bank. I'm now £180 down with no AirPods. Absolutely disgusting lack of accountability and responsibility from this pond-life company.
If there was a minus I’d use it
If there was a minus I’d use it! Been with EE 20 plus years last 6 sim only. Wanted to buy iPhone 16 pro for the camera got talked into a contract. Still ongoing from
October I’m paying for 2 sets of Netflix phones and not able to access app downloads . Have 2 phone numbers where I wanted to keep my original one. Total nightmare. Ee saying an apple issue
And apple no help had to buy a usb and adaptator or lose my memories of my dad who has passed and my grandchildren’s births. Have to set up new Apple ID. Need my phone for work not just personal. Not good enough. Been paying out over £100 a month for a joke of a service and tonight is last straw as can’t ring out as apparently I’m out of credit?? Wtf!! I have never had a top up contract in my life. Worst thing ever was not going up the escalator and not just buying a new phone and sticking to sim only. Ps the broadband is crap too.
Sold stock they don’t have
Sold me a product on Black Friday.
When it wasn’t delivered I emailed them and they said it is out of stock and don’t know when it is going to be delivered.
Then after saying I won’t be buying from EE again they send me a 10% off code. Joke.
The frustration being: they didn’t let me know.
Absolute joke of a company and customer…
Absolute joke of a company and customer service is even more a circus
Getting worse...!
Been with EE a good number of years and despite paying close to £50 pm for my phone contract, the network is clearly on a decline. Internet on the phone is very poor. I'm questioning if this review will go through or will it crash? Customer service seems to be a mix of phone, app and text based and quite patronising in that it recommends contact via the app but that eventually tells you to call. Really disappointed and will be leaving.
Staff Helpful and Patient
My old tv set box could not cope with amazon movies etc so phoned BT, now EE they sent a helpful engineer who said the tv box was outdated and needed an upgrade. Phoned BT/EE who said that the only way to get an upgrade was to renew my contract and after some haggling this was done at at an extra £1.20 per month.
The new equipment, hub, two tv boxes etc arrived on time and with some effort I connected it all up. Only one problem I found that my telephone landline had stopped working, after a phone call to the engineer he found that my line had been converted to digital without my knowledge and that the conversion equipment had not been set, he talked me through connecting to the hub.
Generally waiting times when calling
EE were acceptable and their staff were helpful and patient, appreciated as I am elderly. Apart from the phone glitch service was good 4 Stars.
So awful could not use phone when on…
So awful could not use phone when on holiday no help with ee
Terrible customer service
I don't often write a terrible review but I have to say there was nothing good that I can say about the customer service that I experienced with EE last Friday evening. We were on the phone to them trying to get my Dad's new phone sorted out. In total the issue took 2 hours to sort out, something that should have taken just 10 minutes at the most. My Dad who is 82 and finds technology difficult would have had no chance sorting out this issue. I am a very kind and polite person but the whole experience was very stressful. We were passed from one person to another and each time told different things. Overall we felt unheard.
