Amazing Mental Health Support

After my mental health declined I signed up for some help with Craig Donathy, Head of Mental Health based in Aberdeen. Craig was brilliant, drawer information from me slowly, taught me techniques to use during tough times, listened without judgement, laughed with me … literally he new my life story by the time I finished my course.
With Craig’s help, I now feel I am at my next volume in life. 40+ years have been left at the door and I am fully equipped to navigate through the next 40 years.
Could not recommend more highly.

Be carful here, making money for no reason

I made an appointment for a basic offshore medical at £150, the first doctor I met did the usual blood pressure, eye test and hearing test, but then decided I had to have an extra check due to a heart attack in 2010. The doctor I met the week after saw me for 5 minutes did my blood pressure again and then said I now need a scan, the appointment for the the second doctor took 10 minutes in total and cost me £250 the scan he wants me to take cost £400 and blood tests at £150. Neither of these is required for the basic medial I wanted and there was no reason for the extra cost as I have no issue with my health, there was supposed to be a call back regarding this but nothing happened.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience.

Patient safety is always our priority, and where a clinician identifies something in a medical history that may require further review, additional assessments can sometimes be recommended before a certificate can be issued. These decisions are made on clinical grounds, not for commercial reasons.

That said, we understand your frustration around the unexpected costs and the fact that you did not receive the follow-up call you were expecting. This is not the level of service we aim to provide.

As we cannot discuss individual medical cases in a public forum, we would welcome the opportunity to review this properly with you. Please contact us directly at qandc@tachealthcare.com and a member of our team will look into your concerns in full.

Kind regards,
TAC Healthcare

Excellent from Dr. Newman

Following a disastrous experience with Nuffield Health in London, I was referred across to TAC Healthcare in Ealing Broadway, London to meet Dr. Newman for my 2-yearly medical assessment.

Dr Newman was fantastic, considerate and polite. Could not recommend him more highly.

Disappointing experience

Very disappointing institution, would not recommend. Make you go through 5-6 additional and unneeded steps for what otherwise would be a quite straightforward process. Medical staff was lacking in both knowledge and capability.

Well my son has had his Hope's up twice but been cancelled twice.. now we are told it could be weeks he has to wait.. he has autism, ADHD and this is not good for his state of mind..
This needs to be taken into consideration when giving appointments then taking them away..
It's not acceptable..

0 service and even less manners

Ok so I needed an MRI scan for my back as I was experiencing severe pain and numbness that went across my lower back legs/knee and both of my hips feel like they are on fire. I was told it would be an emergency appointment as I lost feeling in more private areas too. I waited 8 weeks for an appointment on a saturday morning at 8.20am (today). The letter stated to be 15 minutes early which I was. When I arrived there was one other person waiting to be seen. The TAC Mobile van looked deserted but at 8.10am he opened up and let the other person in before casually asking me if I had an appointment? (Why would I be standing un a deserted carpark in the freezing cold at that time of the morning otherwise?) I said yes it's at 8.20am. He then looks me up and down, scowls at me and says we'll you have to wait out here for 20-30 minutes and shuts the door. So 30 minutes in the freezing cold with numb body parts and severe pain with nowhere to sit! I already was incredibly nervous but in that second I thought I don't trust that you care enough to do the job properly or will even have the patience to deal with someone in pain and who is anxious. I knocked on the door and said I'm sorry but I can't wait out here standing for that long and he said go home then and call your GP and rebook. Honestly I'd rather not. The service is shocking and the lack of care just goes go show why people have no faith in even seeking out a GP in the first place, especially with all the stupid hoops you have to jump through just to get an appointment. I'm back where I was with less faith in people and I didn't have much to start with.

Fantastic if you want EU type care

Fantastic if you want EU type care. Complete opposite of professionals who work in medicine for money.

British approach is not same as EU and focuses on speed, rather than listening. TAC is European (best metaphor).

The admin are fab and also the surgeon has good sense of humour.
They also give you the small talk and ask about family: it's great.

I had an occupation health review via this company and I am absolutely appalled by the experience I had.

The appointment was scheduled for 11.40 for 50 minutes. The Dr was nothing but rude, abrupt and interrupted me saying we are running out of time to the point I finally stopped her 14 minutes in and advised I was ending the meeting. Make the appointments longer if your going running time.

I was discussing my mental health, medication, supports etc so very sensitive issues and when I made a mistake while speaking she was patronising example, she asked who I had supporting me and who I lived with, I said I get support from my children’s dad, grandparents, siblings, friends etc and she was like oh so you live with your entire family but in a very passive way just because I was supposed to say who I lived with at that point rather than who supported me.

I requested a new Dr to hold the meeting, absolutely shocking. The very fact I’ll be having any meeting with this dreadful company again I don’t know why. Disgraceful. This is what happens when things are privatised, no respect? No sensitivity nothing. Shocking! Unbelievable.

The biggest fuckup I experienced in my…

The biggest fuckup I experienced in my whole life!
Sit down and have a stiff drink, this is going to be strong!
This happened, sorry, is happening as we speak, to my wife and my 9 years old daughter.
She is on holiday in Poland and booked a PCR test from these guys at Glasgow Airport (booking reference GCVWPT24316782) well before the return flight.
Before the flight, she tried to fulfil the passenger locator form from the UK Visa and Immigration website; to her surprise, the test's booking number provided by Expresstest was refused because invalid. Unable to fill the form she went to the airport in the hope to clarify the matter on-site, to her surprise she was denied boarding the plane. She is travelling with a young girl (my daughter) and now both in great distress without lodging and they will need a new Covid test in Poland, a new booking and, probably, they will need to book another PCR here in the UK from a more reliable source.
Now is 8 pm and, of course, they are closed so no customer support!
I promise to these fu**ers that I will sue the hell out of them for the sustained costs and moral damages.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!
