Paid £500 to facilitate a Loan, 6 years later filed a CCJ (all part of the service????)
This company were paid to facilitate a housing loan / mortage back in 2016, and were paid a handsome sum of £500 for the work. 6 years later, they have just filed a claim against us, and now a CCJ is appearing on the credit report of myself and a sibling, claiming that an administration fee was not paid + want interest at 8% over the last 6 years. We moved out of the property in 2019, but they still had a means of contacting us by way of email and phone (technology which was still in use between the years 2016 and 2023), but never thought to try this to discuss this matter. Not the way I expect a company like this to operate, and feel there is something very underhanded in the way that they have approached this matter. Please beware of this cowboy outfit.
Needless to say that we will be fighting this matter, and have all the evidence we need to prove that their claim is a farce.
