Better go Post!
App and online user area are useless. They have no usefull functionality. The logging mess for mobile and fixed, together with all different identifiers make me wonder about their busines processes and ongoing implementation. Contacting the support is something you can NOT do when logged in (and when all your data are available). You have to provide all you info over and over, every time you want to contact support. However, the reason I initiated this negative review is because I switched from Tango to Post, they didn't stop the direct debit and they continue billing. At this point when I contacted the support they never replied. Thankfully, I use Revolut bank and although I could had stopped the direct debit myself, I didn't, because I never thought a company in Luxembourg would act in such a manner (if you use a traditional bank, then best of luck to you). Nevertheless, Revolut reversed the charges for me otherwise I would be stuck trying to sort it out with Tango support for ages probably.
This company is full of scams
This company is full of scams. They will charge you for everything without letting you know and there is nothing you can do besides paying. I strongly advice you to find another operator.
Bad joke......
I had several discussion with chat and phone customer service... and my issue were not able to fixed after spending so much time asking for help.Just wanted to have internet in 2 places. I was clear from the beginning that this is not a move of my internet but adding additional one to my account. It was that straightforward... 2 times Tango cancelled the internet on both places, 4 times I was waiting for technicians in 1,5 week to finally fix the things on both places... no success.... Now I am without internet for a week while I am working online 100% from home.... This is a joke... A very bad one.
This company is absolutely awful!!!!
This company is absolutely awful. When we moved to Luxembourg we contacted them to get an internet connection. After not showing up to the installation date, they told us that they wasn't able to provide us with internet so we cancelled the internet deal. Now 6 MONTHS AFTER they keep sending us bills every month, even though they never provided us with internet and I have contacted them every month to get them to stop sending bills. The customer service agents are rude, they leave the chat if they don't feel like answering you and then the same issue happens the month after. DONT USE THEM!
Stay away for Internet and TV...
I should have checks comments before engaging in a 2-year contract for Internet and TV... Very poor service, their decoder works (and often don't...) with the same app as the one on mobile phones. So you often need to uninstall and reinstall it... The app on phone does not work to watch TV as sold in their offer...
Clueless or a big scam.
I can't identify if they are trying to rob their customers or that they are really clueless.
It already starts that they offer fiber (>1Gbps) and their routers are only ASDL 300mbps.
They try to force you to rent their routers so I informed them about this 'minor' detail and they denied this fact and basically give you the speed of the wireless part of the router.
Again, or really clueless of they try to scam people.
In my case, I got a 150mbps contract with a 100mbps router. Initially they tried to force me to rent their 300mbps router because my router wouldn't be compatible. Really clueless of a big load of BS? Can't really say. Their mechanics that come for the installation at least know their stuff.
Anyway, got a nice 97 mbps line for the full 2 years of my fixed contract. Then suddenly it dropped to 20mbps. Checked everything at my place but no problems. Contacted them again. I should get their ******* router. Seriously wt...
Now that the collective vacation is here I get up to 42 mbps so it's probably a combination of deliberately lower my speed and the fact that their servers are overloaded.
I will switch soon to a competitor. I will rent their router because it's made for fiber and I don’t feel like investing a lot of money.
Tango is or a big scamming company, or full of clueless people. Can't say which one.
I have been a loyal customer, but now it's to much. Bad service!
I have been a Tango customer for more than 5 years but now I just had enough. Without letting me know, my Internet line was downgraded from 1Gb to 500mb. I have spent several hours analyzing my network, changing cables, buying new hardware etc in order to get an appropriate speed - and all in wain as it JUST turns out that Tango system downgraded my line for unknown reason. And worst of all, NO ONE takes responsibility of their errors. Worst company and customer service ever.
Not recommended for any long-term subscription, very limited domestic area. Even if you travel in EU, you may be charged with roaming charges, big cancellation fees (cost as 1 year subscription)
Having 20 Euro per month contract, they didn't hesitate to charge by 80+, then 100+ Euro in monthly invoices as they have very expensive over-limit cost (or "sudden roaming" in EU). Even with the limit set at 20 Euro per month, they found a way to charge with additional expenses later, justifying that the internet wasn't included in this option (before they didn't clarify this and that was the purpose of the selected option).
Then, when we finally decided to refuse this company "service", they charged 236 Euros of the cancelation fee. It is almost the same amount as the cost of a one-year subscription to another mobile company with almost unlimited internet. One month later and we wouldn't have been charged, they said. Unfortunately, we got nothing, except a headache: no good connection, no good mobile internet. The worst mobile company we have ever experienced. We use in parallel two other mobile operators and never received additional charges. I think, that without such an unfair business model they will not survive in the market, just because the competitors do their job so much better and for a lower price.
Some companies cheat, some provide a good service, you decide whom to stay with.
The service was reliable enough, but I was lied to
The service was reliable enough, far better than Orange, but in the end, I discovered that they lied to me about termination of the contract. Despite leaving at the contract termination date, I was still charged disconnection fee of nearly 80 euros, even though I specifically asked when entering into the contract, whether there will be a disconnection fee if the contract runs it's 2-year course.
The worst company
The worst company. The process to cancel the contract are obscure by design. They continue to charge, they can't communicate clear process, final payments.
Thats all made by design to steal money from the. customer. Stay away from cheaters!
Hey people Welcome to the cheater…
Hey people Welcome to the cheater world,
In Luxembourg, there is no much competition in mobile network services so ww.tango.lu is profiting from the opportunity for very long years, SO STAY AWAY FROM ''tango''
They charge me and in the meantime don't want to give me my mobile number.
