Paul was great and very professional. When I had a meeting with him before the wedding, he gave us good suggestions and reassurances for the day. We really love the quality of the photos. He really captured the joy of the day! He also provided us with a short slideshow of photos to music which I didn't expect but we really loved.

Real photographs, real emotions and real memories, all without the faff.
Choosing a photographer for your wedding is incredibly overwhelming with so many options out there. I struggled so much as we just wanted the reality of the day photographed and for the memorable moments to be captured. The Tansleys gave us exactly what we wanted. The photos are stunning, natural and going through them has allowed us to relive the day exactly as it happened.
Both Paul and Carol are incredibly knowledgeable and professional at providing great natural photographs that provide a full photo documentary of the day, all without the posing and faff so many photographers need to make their photos look good.
Before the day we had several calls where we were given invaluable advice, things we had never thought of were covered so that we were able to have the best photos taken on the day. Looking back at the photos we still smile knowing how we were lucky enough to get that particular photo, without the advice it wouldn't have happened.
There were no hidden costs and at a very competitive price especially with how long they were there and the time and effort it took to go through all of the photos before we received the album.
All in all I can not express how happy we are. Neither my husband or I enjoy having our photos taken but with the Tansleys help we love our wedding photos. We would 100% recommend them for your special day.

Paul and Carol are amazing. The photos they took are incredible, and their documentary style was perfect for us in not only being unobtrusive into our special day but also producing photos that actually reflect what happened. Their past experience in fashion photography is made clear when you look at the portraits that are taken, which were fantastic. It’s not a surprise they win so many awards. Paul and Carol took time to meet with us before our special day to help break the ice and go through tips to help us achieve the best photos possible. They were really easy to get along with which is super important as despite the “documentary style”, you will inevitably spend many hours in your wedding photographers company. They were also kind enough to signpost us to past suppliers other weddings had used which was very helpful.

Overall, can’t rate Tansley Photography high enough. Thank you for creating such amazing memories of our special day!

After doing lots of research we chose Paul Tansley for our intimate registry wedding in Winchester. We could not have had a better experience. We wanted natural, and candid photos that reflected the family feel of the event and he absolutely delivered. Paul is so warm and engaging and from the first meeting with him we knew we had made the right decision. He has such a great eye, really capturing the emotions of the day. The photos are beautiful and will be treasured for years to come.

We honestly couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos from Tansley Photography. They are absolutely incredible. We couldn't be happier with our experience having Paul and Carol capture our wedding day. Initially, we didn't realise that Tansley Photography was a duo, let alone a married couple. We felt like we were getting two experts for the price of one, especially considering their impressive ratings and numerous awards.

From the very beginning, Paul provided endless support leading up to the wedding. He arranged a personalised session a couple of weeks prior, guiding us through what to expect on the big day and offering tips on how to stay natural for the best shots. This preparation made us feel incredibly ready and relaxed.

Both Paul and Carol were attentive to our specifications. I had some specific shots in mind, and they did their utmost to accommodate my requests. At one point, Paul even went above and beyond by getting fully into a bush to capture the perfect shot, what a way to show his dedication!

Our friends and family also remarked on how friendly and approachable they were, seamlessly blending into the day.

We can't recommend Paul and Carol enough. From the moment we enquired to the final email with our wedding slideshow and photos the service is so personal and the work they produce is professional, the advice and guidance and support was incredible. What an amazing couple who ooze passion and are so friendly and accomodating. My husband did not want to invest in photographers when we started the wedding budget but I can wholeheartedly say he now agrees it was the 2nd best decision he made besides marrying me:-)

Paul and Carol came very highly recommended - and from our very first meeting with them, we could see why. We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of their service from the very beginning - their advice was invaluable and their professionalism on the day was truly outstanding. The mark of truly good wedding photography is for the perfect pictures to be taken, without noticing that they’re being taken. This was certainly the case, as they captured so many wonderful moments without ever being remotely intrusive. To say that we were really pleased with everything is an understatement - family, friends and colleagues have all commented on how excellent the photos are - both the ones for the main album and all the additional ones. The highlights slideshow was also a lovely idea - the music chosen was so appropriate, as were the photos selected. It was really quite emotional watching it, which we repeatedly do. We can’t thank them enough for their outstanding work and will always be full of praise for them because, as far as we are concerned, they made the perfect photographic record of our perfect day.

First things first – the wedding photos we got back from the Tansleys were stunning. Every time we look back at our wedding photos we fall in love with them again. Paul and Carol captured the day perfectly. The emotions we all felt, the personality of our guests, and the grandeur of the venue have been preserved in a way we couldn’t even begin to imagine.

But it isn’t just the photos we’re grateful for. Paul and Carol, while shooting, are as slick and unobtrusive as they promise. They’re also an absolute delight as a pair. From our first meeting together, to any pre-wedding calls, and during quiet moments on the day, their personality, advice and assurance is something that we’ll remember and appreciate as a big part of our special day.

Paul was our wonderful photographer for our intimate wedding. From the moment we saw the reviews and portfolio on his website, we knew he’d be perfect to shoot our special day and we were right! Paul captured our most genuine and favourite moments. He made us feel really comfortable for a couple who were “camera shy”, this was helped by him guiding us through the process before our wedding day and giving small tips that helped us on the day! Picking the right photographer to capture your wedding day is a daunting but exciting prospect. Making the decision to choose Paul and Carol (Tansley Photography) was the best decision we made for capturing our big day. From our initial enquiry to receiving our wedding gallery Paul and Carol were up front, honest, passionate, funny, professional, and most importantly authentic. We built a genuine connection over the course of planning our wedding and on the wedding day itself where we felt relaxed and comfortable in their presence. They made it easy to be photographed for an entire day with the knowledge that they were there to capture our day, not to shoot us performing for them. We knew what to expect from their years of experience and we had complete trust in them.

Our gallery documents the story of our wedding day perfectly, with every image evoking emotion that you can still feel long after the wedding day itself. I cannot recommend Paul enough. After months and countless hours of planning, the wedding day goes by very, very fast so choosing the right photographer is absolutely critical. Paul really did exceed my expectations, and his years of experience and expertise in wedding photography mean that those special moments will be beautifully captured for us to treasure and look back on. The photos are quite simply sensational and breathtaking and I will never know how he did it and got so many special moments but he did - he really is exceptional!
There is a reason he has won so many awards and we were so so so so thankful he could fit us in. Thank you so much Paul!

Out of the dozens of photographers we approached, we ended up choosing Paul & Carol as our photographer for our wedding in Summer 2022 and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

They are very professional and clearly veterans in what they do, they also gave us advice from their experience for what to plan and expect during our big day. They were very open and communicable whenever we had any queries leading up to our big day.

During our wedding, they were so friendly and we loved their subtle approach in addition to their silent cameras, which made it feel as if they blended into the background. Their presence also made us feel very comfortable and neither our guests or ourselves ever felt that we needed to pose or look at the cameras.

When we received our photos, we were stunned by the quality and quantity of the pictures they took. Every photo was incredible, detailed and captured all the special moments, which brought us lots of happy memories looking back. Every photo clearly shows that they spent lots of time and care refining each picture to highlight the emotional moments of when the photo was captured.

We truly enjoyed their company and we would highly recommend Paul and Carol both as they work great as a team and they are definitely worth every penny to treasure those special moments of a wedding!

Paul and Carol were very friendly and professional from the outset. After an initial face to face meeting the rest of our communication was done via email and Paul always responded promptly.
On our wedding day, Paul and Carol were punctual, well presented and unobtrusive throughout. They certainly worked their magic and we have now been presented with the amazing photographs they took on the day - all of which we LOVE!

We got married two weeks ago and cannot recommend Paul and Carol highly enough, we were so lucky to have them both shoot for us on the day!
