It had now been a year since I bought my Ford Focus from the Target Car Supermarket. I must say that my experience was smooth, as promised and generally hassle free. After driving my car home I realised the oil level was too high so I contacted TCS and they solved the problem promptly, professionally and without any issues. When it comes to the car itself, of course I had to invest some money into certain parts but that is nothing unexpected when we talk about 9 year old vehicle. Some of buyers get lucky, some not so much, but that’s just normal. When it comes to the pricing, I of course overpaid and I knew that since the very beginning, but I realised I am paying for my far from ideal at the time credit history. Though I could have negotiated the price I believe, but it’s not their fault that I didn’t. I don’t understand people who say they were ripped off. No you weren’t , all the details are presented to you and it is up for you to decide whether you want to sign an agreement or not. You have a full rights to walk away if the deal is not good enough for you.
Would I come back? I don’t see a reason why not. Though I hope by the time I finish paying my current HP agreement my credit history and financial situation will be good enough to buy a new car.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT buy a car from these! My son bought a car from these 16 months ago. Within days it had a major oil leak and Jack told him to bring it to A1 auto centre in Ockendon to have the repair done. Fast forward to now and again oil leak. This time my son took it too a proper BMW specialist because it’s been 15 months and his done 15,000 miles so didn’t for one minute think anything of either target or A1. Turns out the repair was NEVER DONE CORRECTLY it was just sealed with silicone and according to jack this is normal practice..We’ve been trying to get to a solution for the last week with both A1 and Jack at target and getting nowhere. We have now stared the ball rolling with the finance company to get an independent assessment also reported to the car motor ombudsman. My son works blood hard to pay for his car and jack from target is ripping him off

I’ve updated this as my son was giving the cost of repair from A1 motors because after speaking to the manager there they were basically told to not do a costly job by jack.

Honestly take this warning and run with it

First I don’t got good Credit saw this pop up on my instagram and I applied, no time I received a phone called form chole, she didn’t stop until she find me a lender, and I get my appointment to come and view the car I liked, upon arrival I meet with this lovely man by the man of Mike he’s so humble very helpful and we go and pick a car!
