I had a terrible experience with Taurus Autos. When we purchased our Volvo from them, they promised that an issue with the car would be fixed within the first week. Instead, it took over six months and still not resolved

During that time, they repeatedly took the car in for hours or even days at a time, only to return it and say they didn’t have the part they needed. This happened multiple times and felt like a complete waste of our time.

Communication was just as frustrating. We sent email after email and rarely received a response. When they did reply, they simply said they would get back to us—but they never did.

Overall, the experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. If you’re considering buying a car from Taurus Autos, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Stay far away.

Please do not buy off these scammers sold us a car illegally with a product recall for the seatbelts belts and a light fault despite numerous emails
And calls they have ignored our requests for a full refund we now have trading standards involved so they won’t last much longer

Brought a Volvo xc60 last september from these guys and on arrival to buy the car it had been into an accident from the workshop to the dealership it also had a headlight malfunction light on the dashboard which they promised to fix and said it will only take 2 hours to fix, still to this day 6 months later my £10,500 car is yet to be fixed they have kept my car at there garage for a week and still not fixed and using my own time and fuel money to take to garages which they should have done i’ve tried contacting them but they do not care one bit phoning up is a waste of time they do not let you speak to someone higher up i even traveled and hour to bring the car back to them but they had shut the dealership because they didn’t want to face the problem this place is an absolute joke and scam avoid at all costs they will take your money!

I spent over £20,000 on a Range Rover from them and the car developed a drivetrain/differential fault almost immediately. They “fixed” it and gave me a written invoice saying everything was fine and even claiming a 6-month warranty on that area — and then the exact same fault came back within two months.

When I have raised the concern they refused to even look at the car. Instead of dealing with the fault on the Range Rover, they tried to deflect by bringing up an allegation about the part-exchange vehicle as their reason for walking away. That has nothing to do with the fault on a £20k car they sold.

A dealer that takes £20k, issues a repair invoice, the fault comes back, and then flat-out refuses to inspect or help — that tells you everything you need to know.

I would not buy from them again and I would not recommend anyone takes that risk.
