Impressive recovery times in all 3…

Impressive recovery times in all 3 callouts recently. Start rescue have called on tears Sutton Bridge to aid my rescue. Although the first 2 members of staff got me started they did not help in the same way Naz did yesterday (Monday Bank Holiday) he spent time with equipment to diagnose if battery and alternator were working properly and informed me that I have an electrical fault which is causing the battery to keep draining. He also gave me a couple of tips to help me in the future! Well done Naz

Great company

Absolutely fantastic service from the whole team but the star of the show was Peter. Broke down yesterday at Holkham beach on a hot sunny day. If it had been down to the AA, who subcontracted them to us, we would still be there now as we didn’t have enough cover in our policy but there was no way to upgrade despite the best efforts of the Tears team to facilitate this. Peter went above and beyond to help us, honestly we would have been lost without him as my phone battery was nearly dead and my partners’s was running low and we hadn’t brought our chargers. He found a solution to get us back to our campsite and we are now safely home. Absolutely no thanks to the AA, but hugely grateful to Peter and TEARS recovery. We owe you a beer!

A wonderful service

Yesterday while at Hunstanton my friend's car broke down. She got in touch with Green Flag who then told her Tears Recovery would assist. A man arrived an hour later in a little van had a look at the car and told us we would need a Recovery truck. We wasn't best pleased with his response to our questions as he offered no help or support for us, as we are OAP'S. He left telling me that the truck would drop me off at Kings Lynn and for me to get the train home as they were not allowed to go anywhere only to the one address. I told him that I would be happy to be dropped off at my friends house.
He then told us a truck would be on its way in another hour and left. The Recovery truck arrived and the chap who assisted us was completely different from our first awful encounter. He couldn't have been more helpful. What a breath of fresh air to have a young man who helped us in and out of the truck plus made sure we were ok. His name was Tom Martin a credit to Tesrs Recovery as he went above and beyond.

Having broken down in Swaffham the RAC…

Having broken down in Swaffham the RAC asked Tears to recover us to Merseyside . We had the most amazing , kind young man who took us home. I’m pretty sure his name was Kyle . Can’t thank him enough and even stopped at the services so we could use the toilets and stretch our legs . An asset to your company . Many thanks

ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!

We broke down in Norfolk and with our breakdown, tears recovery helped us out. We had Dylan who came to collect the car and caravan on the campsite.
Dylan was absolutely outstanding, especially in a time will you feel stressed he was so friendly and reassuring, even making us all laugh 😂
Drove to us in Kelling Heath all the way to Nottinghamshire. And even helped us to put the caravan in its usual place. We could not thank him enough.
Give this man a pay rise for sure 😂 he absolutely deserves it. Going above and beyond!!!

Appalling Service

Appalling, disgusting way to treat people. I WILL NEVER use Tears Of Sutton Bridge ever again. Took car it in for an MOT and was told it had failed and asked them to fix the issues which they started doing and after 2 weeks of it being stuck in their Workshop, were received a call from them to say 2 Catalytic Convertors would need to be fitted and even then after they were fitted, there was no guarantee it would fix the problem and the cost for the repair would be a couple of thousand. We decided not to bother with the repair as too costly but we were given an eye watering bill for the work they had already carried out and a car that we cannot use. I have since been told by a few people that the problem with the Catalytic Convertors should have been picked up at the beginning of the MOT. We have been SO RIPPED OFF

Great Service got us on the road again

Our car wouldn't start so we assumed it was a dead battery so tried to jump start it with no luck and had it on charge for 10mins from another car but no luck. As it had electric hand break we couldn't push or tow it either so with that we required a recovery truck and there wasn't any availability in our area so we tried Tears who were 30miles away. Having read the reviews I was nervous especially when you have to pay upfront of £165, however the recovery truck did arrive 2 hours later then the time the office said so in total we waited 3 hours but he was a lovely guy and confirmed it was a dead battery and the jump leads we had wasn't strong enough, we'd have needed to put it on charge for over 30mins or need an electric charger in future to give it a good volt of electric. But he got the car started and it's been fine since. Thanks.

Tears by name tears by nature

Tears by name tears by nature. This is just about as grossly incompetent, negligent, and useless company you could ever have the misfortune to to deal with. They dont show up on call outs, they dont answer the phone and they dont answer emails. I can only presume they are living on daddys pile. Pile of whta. I leave that to your imagination.

Unfortunately our car died overnight and was not drivable so as we are with the AA, we opted to be brought back home. Jake, the recovery driver was great. He turned up on time and communication was fine. He was personable and happy to help. Arrived back at home and in one piece so very happy with service

Tears of Kings Lynn. Poor all round 1*

Extremely poor services and customer service. Vehicle got damaged via road rage. Rear window completed smashed. Tears of Kings Lynn took control of my vehicle on Sunday 14th August. Kings Lynn had torrential rain for several days where this company left my car open to the elements. When I enquired if my car looked like it had a mini swimming pool in the back, the answer from a Darren was "Most liķely"
This Darren also when spoken to about giving my permission for the police to take forensics, his reply was "No offence but your permission does not count, neither have the police have a say because we take our orders from the RAC and if they tell us to release the vehicle tomorrow, then it will go to the repairers without any notifications to yourself" Extremely poor attitude. 1* is being generous and if any further damage has been caused by their lack of care and negligence, then further action will be taken against them and they will be held fully responsible.

Abysmal communication

Sent out by Green Flag for homestart on my car. Took it to their depot and scheduled it to have work done on it at my cost without even telling me, let alone obtaining my permission and authorisation for this to happen. Left a blank invoice by way of communication when taking the car in my absence. Called them to find out where my car was and the girl didn't know, put me on hold to find out, still didn't know whether they did or did not have my car... Had to get Green Flag to ring them and find out what was going on. Eventually it was established they had it and were set to start doing work on it as it couldn't be started at my home address. Poor communication. As I didn't authorise the car being taken there and did not consent to them doing work on it, I asked for it to be returned and was told I had to have it re-towed to a garage which they did in due course, but they threatened me with storage fees if I didn't nominate a garage within 48 hours of a Saturday afternoon! Charging storage fees for keeping my car at your depot, where I never asked you to take it, and where you were about to merrily start working on it at my cost without even having spoken to me, is unacceptable.

Towing itself - could not fault. No damage to car and it was towed promptly and successfully to a garage once I nominated one.

TEARS OF SUTTON BRIDGE GARAGE SERVICES = RUBBISH

Contacted them and spoke to one of the owners to do a few jobs on my vehicle. One of which required them to come to my home and bleed the clutch in order to get the vehicle to their garage. Call out charge was £38 which was accepted. Everything was going well during the week with emails etc got prices and was happy they were a BOSCH Approved garage (which recommended) so unlike the other cowboys in the garage trade these days these guys can be trusted. NO such luck!! Never showed up all day and no apologies, nothing.

Needless to say they wont be getting any business off me again. I shall be making a complaint to BOSCH too.
