slow as molasses

this company advertises that they have internet 6- all their ad material says they have upgraded to having 6- but they are very very stupid people, because they will install a modem that has two bands- 2.4 and 5. and then they tell you that you can buy "6" by purchasing a mesh system FROM THEM, which is for wifi 6. GUESS WHAT TELMEX!!! the mesh sytem being wifi 6 does not make your dual band wifi triband! WOW. they absolutely REFUSE to send out someone to provide me with a triband modem. I have eero 6 mesh. but mesh does not convert 5 to 6. THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS, YOU ABSOLUTE MORONS.

Rotten service from Telme Cancun.

Last year we asked our hotel concierge to arrange internet for when we moved into our Cancun apartment. We only wanted it for four months but we had to pay for a full year We haven’t had any internet since November. We got a confirmed receipt from Telmex showing our payment but one of their engineers visited to check the equipment which he said had no problems. We have been again and again to Telmex in Cancun who confirm that we have paid and refuse to give us our money back.

It's been 10 days with out service

It's been 10 days with out service. Send email 1-3 days 48 hours 24 hours. 5 times get massages 48 hours. On the phone someone will be there tonight if not tomorrow. All talk no service. There are by far the worst. Don't get Telmex. It's all talk and no service look elsewhere

Garbage service

Do not, I repeat DO NOT!!! get this internet provider. It's pure garbage when it comes to customer service or fixing a problem. I've had this provider for 8 months and haven't had internet (altogether) for at least 3 months. I went 2 straight months without internet and now I'm going on a month of no internet. Pure garbage.

Totally garbage company

Totally garbage company. I’ve been waiting 16 days and counting for an installation. When the technician came after almost two weeks of waiting, he told me he couldn’t install the service and would write a report for a solution. I find out days after that he didn’t write any report.
They keep not showing up for their appointment either. They send confirmation emails that they’re on the way, but just don’t come.
Customer service is nice but they’re just reading a manual. They all say the same thing. Honestly, if it were possible, I would contract another company, but my privada only has Telmex. Their technicians are totally clueless and unprofessional. NEVER EVER have I seen such a garbage company.

It’s 8 pm I been home 12 hours waiting…

It’s 8 pm I been home 12 hours waiting on the tech service rep. 5 days every single day they say they’re coming and they don’t they say they’ll make a report they make a report it’s been five days I’m going to lose my job because I cannot do the platform because I don’t have any Internet download and no one from Telmex seems to care or do anything about it they keep saying give us 24 hours . How many 24 hours do you need send someone to my house for five minutes and replace my router and will be done. But that would be way too simple to do so instead I lose a job and can’t work because no one cares at Telmex worst service ever. Service rep now on the phone tells me it possibly could be May 12 before they help me which will be over a week this is ridiculous

Una de las peores empresas mexicanas

Es una de las peores empresas mexicanas que existen. A cada rato falla el internet, no dan lo que garantizan en cuánto a Mbps, su Call Center es terrible porqque las operadoras dan tiempos de respuesta lentos y con muy mala actitud.

En fin, la verdad mejor IZZI, Starlink o cualquier otra que no sea Infinitum.

It's one of the worst Mexican companies out there. The internet constantly fails, they don't deliver on their guaranteed Mbps, and their Call Center is terrible because the operators provide slow response times and have a really bad attitude.

In conclusion, honestly, it's better to go with IZZI, Starlink, or any other provider that isn't Infinitum.

Untrustworthy

This is the worst service that could ever exist. No customer service available you go to the offices and they say to reach over the phone or online. When you reach out by phone the automated service says you will receive a TXT message but it never arrives.

I am paying for a package but the upload speed is 0.18 and I have not received a resolution on this situation

3 weeks ago the internet went out at my house in Puerto Vallarta and their technicians never came when they were supposed to and they kept giving me folio numbers and phony dates (3x) so I finally gave up and tried cancelling my service but guess what? YOU CAN'T CANCEL! They said I had to cancel online through my account so I did that and got a message stating a representative would call me to confirm the cancellation and without this phone call my service would not be cancelled. So 24 hours later I finally got the call and the woman on the phone refused to cancel my service and told me they have to send a technician to my house TODAY (on a saturday) before 5PM to investigate. I pleaded with her to cancel my service or I just will stop paying my bill but she still refused to cancel it or acknowledge the fact I haven't had internet for over three weeks!! What a SCAM I can't believe I fell for these clowns and I don't understand how these guys are the number one provider in Mexico when they are the WORST!

Update: technician came 2 days later and replaced their cable and internet works fine now. However I would have rather cancelled and switched and still can't believe they can just refuse to do so.

We live in Mexico and Telmex deserves ZERO stars!

We live in Mexico. Why give this terrible company even one star? Too cheap to replace their outdated data base. Terrible customer service: you wait for an hour and explain your problem and you're put on hold. Then they hang up on you. When you call back, you have to explain the problem all over again because their is no tracking of calls. Telmex uses a folio system: they assign a number to a service request. This is outdated and does not work. Oh I could go on.

Worst company EVER

have been in Monterrey since May 21,2022. It rained the next day. Since that day, the internet has been intermittent and we constantly restart the modem. We were told on May 29th that the modem needed to be replaced and it would happen within 3 business days. HAS NEVER HAPPENED!! Recorded phone call several times a day to check if internet works. Actually were told a technician was arriving on a couple of different days. Actually had a real person call to say they would be by. MANY phone calls later, they have NEVER appeared! Worst service I have EVER SEEN FOR ANY company. Absolutely NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!! Wish I could rate “negative”!!!

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever! STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICES!! Service went down on January 5th at my place and still is not back after 5 days!! After calling several times the telmex support line for technical service, they kept postponing the solution day after day, after day. First they scheduled the repair for the 6th, then for the 7th and then for the 8th and the 9th… Today it’s 1/9/22 and still no solution. They rescheduled the service for tomorrow… I’m pretty sure tomorrow they won’t show up either! Now they say they have like 14 days to solve the issue!! LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT INTERNET PROVIDER!!

This has to be the worst company in Mexico I cant believe they are still in operation.My first experience was in Acapulco internet was down and ask for a tech to come and fix it .After waitin 7 months calling every weekened we finally decided to pay a tech on the side $1500 and we fixed it ourselves.Had a similiar issue here in Mexico trying to get them to install in Zupango because of lack of other internet providers.$ appointment no shows and promissing us calling them every day and visiting them 2 times.It really has to be the worst customer service out of any company in the world .Something needs to be done sad they are still operating.

I pay but can't or won't fix my internet

I keep paying them but my service has not worked for 40 days. I opened a service call to them 35 days ago but they have not fixed the problem. Got another bill today and will pay it as usual but no internet so I am very angry. This company has major problems and the Mexican people suffer because of their incompetence.
