I recently purchased pickleball shoes from Tennis Packs, and I’m extremely satisfied with my experience. The customer service was excellent, and the product quality exceeded my expectations. Everything arrived just as described, and the whole process was smooth and reliable. I would highly recommend this trustworthy website to anyone looking for great gear!
Title: Shady return practices and terrible customer service
I purchased a racquet for my daughter, but after speaking with her coach, we realized the model was too heavy. I contacted Tennis Express to initiate a return. Their customer service representative specifically asked for photos to verify the condition before approving the process. I sent photos showing the racquet untouched and still in its original shipping bubble wrap. The rep confirmed it was in "new condition" and issued a return label.
I shipped it back exactly as it arrived. They received it on a Monday but sat on the package until I emailed them days later to ask about the status. Suddenly, they claimed the plastic grip had been opened and hit me with a 10% restocking fee. This was a complete fabrication. The racquet was never opened or used.
When I emailed and called to dispute this completely unjustified fee, their customer service team completely ignored me. I had to file a formal dispute with Affirm. Affirm looked at my email evidence and immediately reversed the charges in less than five minutes.
Do not trust this company's return policy. If you have to return an item, take extensive pictures, because they will try to hit you with fake restocking fees and then ignore your communications when you call them out on it.
Worst customer service
Worst customer service. I had to return the racket twice because it was damaged from stringing department. I bought it new and get the items twice damaged. Quality control is poor and would not recommend to buy it here.

No worse purchase experience than here. Bought a string racquet, and also paid for a set of string. However, when I receive the racquet, it was unstrung with a set of string. I had to pay extra money to make the racquet work for match in two days. I bought other racquets from different online stores before. Tennis express is the only one shocked me.

Do not recommend - unreliable retailer
I bought a tennis jacket and pants warm up set on July 8. The pants shipped but no jacket. I emailed them on July 20 requesting tracking for the jacket but no reply. On July 25 I got an email saying the jacket had shipped, but on August 5 it still hadn't arrived. Sent another email and called - was told that the item never shipped and is actually not in stock. The result is that I'm stuck because I'm playing at a club that requires all white attire, I ordered the jacket a month in advance but it's not here and I'm scrambling to find an alternative. Tennis Express sent a misleading, erroneous email two weeks ago saying the item ago finally shipped when it was never in stock - very poor. I have no confidence in their truthfulness, responsiveness to customers, or ability to fulfill orders. Do not recommend.
16 Days of Silence and Out of Stock
I ordered Babolat shoes on 7/15/22 through the Shop App. I never received any shipping info or order status updates. I called 16 days later and they do not have the shoes in stock and never bothered to notify me. Terrible customer service and no communication.
Horrible Customer Service
Horrible Customer Service. I bought 3 clothing items from the 4th of July sale. They never sent me out any tracking number or any communications for 2 weeks. Then I had to call them to ask them for the status ofd the order. They told me that 2/3 items were sold out. I expected a cancellation of them since it's their "final sale" but they just went ahead and sent 1 item without even notifying me. Also, I had to call in them to "cancel" my "sold out" item to even retrieve a refund?
Also, while I was on the phone I was asking for a return label, yet they told me you can do it online? What? I am talking to you on the phone and you know my situation. Why would I need to go backwards another 10 steps? LOL
Ordered July 6th
Ordered July 6th. As of July 18: no shipment, no communication, won't answer the customer service phone number, won't response to customer service emails. No choice but to reverse charges on credit card. One star is one too many.
Do not buy for the foreseeable future
As other posters have said, do NOT expect to get your order any time soon. They're implementing a new point-of-sale system (at least according to their customer service reps), I placed an order on july 1st and over two weeks later I have yet to receive an update. You can't even cancel the order through them as they require you to call, but nobody answers the phone. Terribe service.
Will I receive what I ordered and paid for?
I had trouble with the website and had to order via phone with an agent who witnessed the problem I had and was able to overcome the IT problem. That was on July 2, and at the end of the day on July 14, no progress has been made on my order. I know this after trying to get a response for 40 minutes from the online chat bot, and simultaneously waiting over 20 minutes for someone to answer a phone call. An agent said what I've heard on three previous phone calls, that they have had a change in computer systems, and but my racquet would be sent to a warehouse to be strung and shipped out in 24-48 hours. Last chance before I cancel my order. I just worry about getting a refund.
Tennis Express not a Legit Company
Tennis Express (TennisExpress.com) said they were having software issues and could not ship or complete orders. I ordered on July 2nd, 2025 and eight days later they still haven't shipped. They couldn't even send an email saying they were having issues. Folks this is not a legit company.

No longer a Customer
After years of ordering from TE, I had an issue with a NIKE tennis T when I washed it after wearing one time. "Customer Support" told me no returns after being worn or washed. I think this is terrible. He suggested that I take a picture and dispute it with NIKE? I believe that Tennis Express should be the one to stand by the product and/or dispute if necessary. What is customer support anyway?
Bad site and bad CS
I placed an order 7 days ago. It was suppoese to ship out the next day. Their site doesn't provide an update on shipping. Their agents do not respond on their chat. I cannot find out the status and their site doesn't provide me a way to cancel my order even though I am pretty sute it has not shipped. They charged my credit card the day I ordered. Most sites do not charge until the item ships.
First time and last time using Tennis Express
Their advertisement for the 26” Junior solinco blackout racket did not list the grip size, so I used their chat feature and the guy told me it was a size 0 (I have a screen to prove it). I ordered the racket and it arrived with a size 1 grip which is too big for my daughter. I called customer service and they told me this racket only comes is a size 1. If the chat guy would have told me this, I never would have ordered the racket. They charged me $13 to return their mistake. First time and last time using them. Terrible customer service.
