The place was amazing the kids had so much fun but the food was not nice at all especially with how much we spent

Fabulous staff, venue spotless, good value drinks but food is a 5/10 as always unless you just order chips

The experience was good. Was a a last minute visit. Was not too busy during the start of the Easter school holidays.
Straight forward book in and off we went.

The booking on and getting onto our alley were very straight forward. However the food and service wasn't the best, our order came out wrong, we received someone else's order that gave us no napkins and one sachet of sauce between us all. I tried telling one of the members of staff that they have given us someone else's order plus our own. All he said was someone going to get into trouble for this, meanwhile another customer noticed we had the wrong order. We had hers and they tried to take it to the kitchen and back out which was then cold. We were made to feel like we had done wrong whilst trying to eat our meal and the order customer constantly pointing at me and our children. No apologise no thanks, not very good customer service if honest.

Excellent booking process and service when attending. Staff were great when we required assistance and the area was well managed and maintained and good range of arcades and games to keep the kids entertained following the bowling. Good number of pool tables too.

Its half price on Tuesday. Good value, clean and great fun. Would visit again.

The bowling was good fun, the food however was awful esp for the price. A bit worrying the police were there at 12.30 on a Saturday dealing with some sort of complaint, wonder if that may have had an impact on the food. Even so it was not great.

I’d not been to Tenpin in a very long time so it was really nice to see how many improvements have been made. Everywhere was clean, staff were friendly, everything worked like clockwork and our experience was really enjoyable and easy. My only minor issue was it wasn’t very clear where the check in desk was when you enter.

Our experience at Tenpin Derby on Feb 28th was nothing short of traumatic. We were subjected to blatant racial discrimination, being ignored for 15+ minutes while the "local crowd" was prioritized.
1. Physical Threats: Server Callum was extremely aggressive, actually asking us to "come outside" to settle the matter, openly indicating an intent to fight patrons. This is dangerous and entirely unprofessional.
2. Systematic Hostility: Bar staff Ayesha and Mikaela were outright rude, with Ayesha dismissively stating we’d be served "when we were served." Security (Fakhar) and the Manager (Zoe) failed to de-escalate. Instead, Zoe refused to refund our £36.60 and humiliated my group by forcing us to leave for no fault of our own. The ultimate confirmation of this toxic culture came from their own Security Guard, Fakhar. As a person of color himself, he admitted to us during the confrontation that this is simply how the staff behaves.
3. Discrimination & Gaslighting: They claimed we had only waited 2 minutes and refused to check CCTV. This is a clear pattern at this venue. We have been humiliated, racially discriminated against, and effectively robbed of our money. They didn't just take our money; they tried to strip us of our reputation in a public space. Tenpin Derby is a place where discrimination is an open secret acknowledged by its own staff.
This venue has a documented pattern of this behavior in other reviews (Google). My friend has initiated a bank chargeback and will be filing a formal report under the Equality Act 2010. Avoid this place if you expect basic professional standards.

Excellent welcome by name as staff know me and they were very attentive and could do enough to help us.

We booked a party and to be honest it was a letdown. We had to ask when they wanted kids...and it was gone past party time. We then had to ask for the squash ready for when they came out. When the table became free we cleared it and wiped it with the spray....whilst a member of staff looked on! My son enjoyed it with his friends but i felt it lacked for a party the attention to detail or even a basic host. I appreciate it was half term but when you pay for a service i should have to be the one to keep asking for it
