Happy with the initial installation of improved invertor and batteries initially in 2017, but since realised 2 batteries as recommended was definitely not necessary. The first battery doesn't even hal... See more

I install solar pv systems and after…
I install solar pv systems and after speaking with one of the sales team am very sceptical of their claims of greater efficiency and payback. Their prices seam astronomical.
TESAC sales enthusiam
TESAC wanted me to sign up for an inverter for £2495 plus £300, but if I signed then and there they'd deduct the £300. The salesman came with no facts and figures, relying on bluster to say that his proposed inverter was far better than mine, and as I was just about to sign up, he changed the model that they were recommending. A month after I lost confidence and cancelled the order they have finally given me the website showing the model he was suggesting, so that I can find the technical details. And they have offered to reduce the price to me from £2495 to £1695, so I'm glad I backed out in good time! For a company that styles itself as The Energy Saving Advice Centre, high pressures sales at an over-the-top price that could later be slashed by over 30% seems strangely out of place.
VERY HAPPY WITH MY BATTERY STORAGE PACKAGE
I have been happy with the service I have received. I have had batteries installed and they are working fine. Wasn't the cheapest quote I got, but I'm happy I chose TESAC as workmen fixed an existing problem I had that neither me or the salesman had picked up on.
I would recommend battery storage to anyone with high electricity bills and TESAC are a great company to use.
People Beware
Had a battery installed by this company in April, we have NO IDEA AT ALL , if it is working, have phoned more than a dozen times to try to get the app installed, AND TO SEE IF anyone can tell me the truth!!! NO LUCK and NO HELP FROM THESE PEOPLE. Every time I phone I’m told a different story, have been passed from person to person, with NO RESULTS WHAT SO EVER. They JUST DONT CARE, SO........ please any one thinking of using these people beware , they are not efficient, or......... responsive as they make out, never return your calls, tried to get our free electric bulbs only to be told by the company supplying them ,we couldn’t have them as Tesac had not paid their bill! People beware !
Over-priced replacement solar invertor
Recently had a replacement invertor installed by the energy saving advice centre at the cost of £1800 for a solar X1 Series 2.0 kw invertor.
The cost of the same invertor supplied and installed by Eco 7Energy at £445.00 plus vat. I feel ripped off !
Over-priced and unnecessary work
Over-priced and unnecessary work.
The company arranged to complete (for the overall cost of £3100+) work to my parents' solar panel system - basically just adding a Solar PV+ Plus.
They claimed that installing this would increase FiT payments by 25%, and that the device would pay for itself in 2 years. For this to be right they would have to be receiving FiT payments of £12,000 per year that increase to £15,000 per year. Their FiT payments are closer to £800 a year.
These devices are widely regarded as unnecessary and ineffective with modern inverters. They are also available to order from other websites for £699 and take "less than half a day" to install.
BEWARE. Do your research please.
Great Service
Great Service throughout the whole process. The team were so professional and everything was completed to the promised timescales.
Great service and helpful staff!
Our solar system is now performing better than we ever expected from adding battery storage to our existing system. Can't wait to see the savings this will now give us.
Thanks again for all your help
