Bad Dealership

I came in the dealership and immediately was greeted with disrespect, I asked to look for a car and got kicked out because I was apparently too broke, So I came back a week later and I was apparently banned for no reason.

Tesla Bristol is shocking, avoid!

I have never experienced such an appalling level of service at a car dealership. I purchased a Tesla Model 3 and paid in full before seeing the car, relying entirely on Tesla’s representations, because they apparently struggle with bank transfers on Saturdays.

When I collected the vehicle, the paintwork quality was completely unacceptable, and I had no choice but to reject the car. Despite this being Tesla’s fault, they have held my refund for over 70 days, preventing me from buying another car and causing me serious financial loss.

The communication has been abysmal: repeated emails ignored, promised callbacks never made, and continual excuses like “being expedited” or “key contacts out of office.” Even more shocking, the original sales advisor appears to have received a bonus or commission for a sale that never actually happened, while I was left chasing my own money.

To make matters worse, the same car was relisted for sale on Tesla’s website while my funds were still withheld. This is completely unacceptable, demonstrates a lack of transparency, and raises serious questions about Tesla’s quality control and customer care.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly advise avoiding Tesla Bristol until they overhaul their aftercare and accountability standards. This experience has destroyed my trust in the brand.

Horrendous customer service

I can understand why the rating for Tesla is poor. The customer service quality has deteriorated. Clearly they are not recruiting the right people for roles. Still waiting a response on delivery. Horrendous!! For this reason Tesla will lose market share.

Until today

Until today, I was very happy with my Y. In todays snowstorm (25Jan26)I saw how poor the Y drives in the snow. My windshield wipers froze and they could not keep the windshield clear. I had a lot of trouble seeing where I was going. I could not pull off to the side of the road, because I was afraid of being hit by an on-coming car. The horn froze and did not toot. When the Police drove by, they did not hear the horn so I had to sit, stuck in snow until a truck stopped and helped me out of the snow. The Y was stuck in snow three times today.
I am a RN. We worked like the post men in all types of weather. I am very very disappointed. I think my Hyundai SUV handles better in snow than my Y.

My 2019 Tesla Model S had its 12V…

My 2019 Tesla Model S had its 12V battery die with absolutely no warning. What’s frustrating is that no normal garage can change it, not even the AA, so the only option is to tow the car to a Tesla dealership just to replace a basic 12V battery.

Tesla then told me they can’t even give me a date to do this for two weeks. So I’m basically without a car for two weeks over something that should be a simple job. On top of that, I still don’t know how I’m supposed to actually get the car there on the day. I can’t tow it the day before because they say they don’t have space to keep it.

There’s no direct way to speak to the dealership, and the main Tesla customer service line has been completely useless. It doesn’t even feel like it’s UK based, and no one seems to understand the situation or take any responsibility.

For a car at this price point, the aftersales support is honestly shocking. This whole experience has completely put me off. Never Tesla again, just be warned.

Tesla miglior auto in circolazione, e assistenza professionale!

Tesla is the best car on the market, in my opinion even better than more well-known brands. I don't understand these negative reviews; I think they're from people who can't understand a car as advanced as Tesla. I've owned cars from well-known brands like Mercedes worth 150,000 euro and I can assure you that my Model 3 Highland, which now starts at 36,000 euro , is light years better in terms of infotainment, interior design, and comfort. I also needed assistance for a small body issue that wasn't their fault, but the car wash in Caserta they use to clean it before delivery. They were incredibly helpful and fixed the problem immediately. It has no defects, and for the price, there's no better car in the world. I'd buy it again with my eyes closed. Proud to have become a Tesla owner.

Tesla does not honor its warranty

The entire bumper assembly fell off my Tesla Model 3 during the heavy rains on December 24. I didn't see it happen.

It was just missing. There is a history of this happening with this model when there is a lot of rain or you drive through a puddle. They admitted to this defect in 2020 and settled a lawsuit over the same issue in 2024, but claim it was fixed.

Apparently not. They are now telling me, 'We are unable to cover the repair under vehicle warranty because the condition was caused by outside factors,' i.e., water.

2-month wait, $1,700 price jump, and unprofessional staff—Avoid this service

I am beyond frustrated with the service experience at both the Santa Clara and Burlingame locations. I booked an appointment on Dec 16th, and the earliest available slot wasn’t until Jan 5th. Despite being promised a loaner vehicle, I was denied one upon arrival because they "ran out," leaving me completely stranded.

The lack of transparency is staggering, but the staff’s attitude was even worse. The employees I dealt with couldn't have cared less about the situation. Instead of trying to find a solution, they were dismissive and made wise-ass comments when I asked for help. They were completely unhelpful and showed zero empathy for the logistical nightmare they created.

I was told diagnosis alone would take "multiple days" with no ETA on completion, and a simple AC compressor replacement would take two weeks. Because of the poor communication, I moved my appointment to Burlingame, only to have them push my date from Jan 22nd to Feb 2nd.

To make matters worse, after "reviewing" my logs (which they’ve had for a month), they hiked the repair estimate from $2,500 to $4,200 for a common PTC cable/heater issue. My car has barely 50k miles and is already requiring massive repairs. It is taking two months just to get a heater fixed, all while being treated with total disrespect by the service team. Absolute failure in both mechanics and customer service.

Car's great so far, but the customer services is comically bad

Car, good (so far). Customer experience prior and post purchase, terribly (almost comically) bad that we're almost regretting the purchase of the car. We purchase directly from Tesla, Southampton, started to experience an issue with the charging port, 2 weeks later still arguing with Tesla Winchester over getting an appointment for them to investigate the issue.

We've never experienced such a bad level of service with any other car manufacturer (expect maybe Land Rover Jaguar...) as you must to do the whole process through an app which takes hours if not days for a response, and I’m unable to call anyone? Not sure if this is the world we should be aiming for.....

Tesla Experience Gone Horribly Wrong!

Ordered a Model X online got my Delivery advisor could not secure Tesla insurance without VIN. Financing was impossible to complete application. I probably would have a better experience in person at the dealer in San Francisco but they are always too busy for employees purchase program. Next time I’ll just select to get help from Tesla Support maybe I’ll have better luck and to schedule appointments online should be damn near impossible to mess up but they managed to bobble that as well. because I scheduled a test drive on January 01, 2026 and it made the appointment to test drive a Model X but when I went to the dealer and they were closed why did it allow me to make the appointment if they were not going to be there how rude!

I wish I could leave zero stars

I wish I could leave zero stars. My issues with the car are panel gaps on the rear tailgate. At the delivery centre they told me service would fix the issue. Guess what service says it is within acceptable limits and they are not doing anything. The scumbags. Other than that the car is good.

I would give zero stars if I could. I had been a loyal Tesla customer but my experience this time couldn't have been worse. The did the bait and switch on me. Wouldn't respond to my messages. Didn't seem to value my business at all. I would've bought a car if they put in the least bit of effort/tried at all to help but the entire experience was the worst.

Miss sold a car at Milton Keynes

Miss sold a car at Milton Keynes. Wasn’t until I read invoice I realised. A lot of misinformation and was not told that the door sills I have to do myself, not at factory on brand new car order. Told there was a £2000 contribution which when spoke to customer services was not entirely true. Server error when tried to get trade in valuation for my current car then to find out I cannot get a refund on the door sills that was sent to my house before the finance or payment was made. Customer service said I have 14 days to return but app says no. Really poor service. I just want my money back and go somewhere else

Never had an electric car so first…

Never had an electric car so first experience hiring one when enterprise didn’t have anything else. Soon found out BP Pulse is a total rip off.

So Tesla offer charging for other makes at some centres. You have to sign up give card details address the works but it’s cheaper.

But here’s the thing, they’ve taken 2 spurious amounts totalling £21+ they want to keep for 2 weeks for absolutely no sensible reason.

So paid in full Xmas eve, but another £11 that apparently I’ll get back on the 7th of January with another amount a couple of days later?

What a ripoff.

First refund was due today but having chased it they now say it can take a month.

Don’t trust promises by Tesla salespeople

Brittany Dinerman contacted me in late October to suggest a new vehicle before the end of the lease of my existing one (late February) and made an attractive offer. I explained that I would be out of the country and thus could not take delivery in the second half of December. In addition, I did not want to pay lease on two vehicles for December (she had explained that only January and February could be prorated). She suggested that I place the order and that she then place the order on hold until January 1st with all the same terms ($6,500 lease incentive, $500 excess wear and tear, $500 loyalty, waived disposition fee). The only thing that she could not control was the lease terms other than the $6,500 lease incentive. I was prepared to take the risk of increased lease interest rate, so I went forward.

Brittany confirmed that she had put the order on hold and would release it mid December so that I could take delivery in early January. She NEVER said that I had to take delivery by December 31st to benefit from the $6,500 lease incentive.

Yesterday, I started completing the 9 pre-delivery steps. When I reached step 4 and requested a Tesla lease, the lease rate had increased slightly, but more outrageously the $6,500 incentive promised by Brittany had vanished. I feel robbed.

I would give 0 stars if I could.

I would give 0 stars if I could.

My wife and I went to the Tesla dealership at the Domain shopping center. We were told by the sales agent that the Tesla Model Y Standard was being offered with 0% interest. We clearly said that we would only move forward if the interest rate was truly 0%, and they agreed to proceed.

After about 30–40 minutes, we received a text message saying “Congratulations, your Model Y has been approved. Please provide insurance.” We contacted our insurance company and got a quote for the vehicle.

When we returned to the dealership, we were shocked to see the payment had changed. Instead of the $527 we were originally told, the payment became $764, even after a $3,000 deposit. When we questioned this, the sales agent said the loan had a 2.99% interest rate.

We immediately told her that she had clearly said 0% interest, and asked why she didn’t tell us the truth from the beginning. At that point, we said we would not purchase the vehicle if it wasn’t 0% interest. She agreed and told us the application fee would be refunded.

However, we still have not received our refund.

We contacted Tesla customer support, waited after 1 hour and 20 minutes wait , and were told the Domain dealership would process the refund. I have texted the sales agent multiple times this week, and she has not responded at all.

It feels like Tesla is taking money for no reason. They told us we had to pay a $250 application fee before applying, and now it seems like that money is just gone. On top of that, I called to add the Tesla to our insurance policy, and the insurance amount was much higher than what we were initially quoted.

After this experience, we went to Toyota and purchased a brand-new Toyota Sequoia, which is a much larger family SUV. Surprisingly, the insurance was almost half the price of the Tesla.

Tesla’s customer service and communication system are extremely poor and very difficult to deal with. This was one of the worst purchasing experiences of my life. I will never recommend Tesla to anyone.

If there were a rating lower than zero, I would gladly give it.

Hi there, Upgrate 2.5 to 3.0 Hardware. on Tesla X

Hi there,

I'm writing today regarding a rather confusing and disappointing experience my housband, had recently with one of your service centers.

I and my husband , a loyal Tesla owners (and we have several Tesla vehicles through our company!), was looking to get a complimentary hardware upgrade (from 2.5 to 3.0) for her 2019 Tesla Model X. I submitted a request through the app on December 23, 2025. To our delight, she received an appointment confirmation and a $0.00 estimate just 15-20 minutes later. Everything seemed perfectly in order!

So, today(My Husband )took the day off work and drove all the way to your Westmont, IL service center for the 9:30 AM appointment. When she arrived, she spoke with a service advisor named Bob Jaskolski. Unfortunately, the interaction got off to a bit of a rough start. Bob seemed quite surprised by her request and informed her that we don’t offer complimentary requests. My husband, understandably, was quite confused, as he had a clear appointment confirmation and a $0.00 estimate for exactly that service request. He explained that he had even lost a day's work to be there, but Bob's response was essentially that "an appointment is just an appointment," implying it didn't guarantee the service as requested.

To add to the frustration, my husband later noticed that the original service request, along with its confirmation details, appeared to be completely gone from her Tesla app. It was as if she had never even made the request, which felt a little unsettling after the conversation he just had.

We've been big fans of Tesla for a long time, owning multiple vehicles through our company, and honestly, we've always appreciated the brand. This kind of experience, though, really took us by surprise and left me and my husband feeling quite let down. You should reconsider buying a Tesla. Even the service manager, Matt Hard, was very disappointing. At first, trying to help and then completely blowing the situation off.
