Just wanted to share my experience prepping for the CAT4
test, in case it helps someone else who's stressing over it like I was for my child.
For context: I had no clue what to expect when I first heard
about CAT4. Even i wasn't sure about which level is suitable for my child. But team members of Test prep Online help me a lot. It's not like a normal school subject. it is more about logic, patterns, verbal/non-verbal reasoning,
and stuff you're not really taught directly.
What made it actually useful:
The verbal and non-verbal reasoning practice was
broken into bite-sized parts.
• It had step-by-step explanations, not just right/wrong
answers - which was a game changer.
I could track which question types I kept getting
wrong (number analogies were my child's weak spot)
The format felt close to the real test, so by the time the exam came around, it didn't feel intimidating.
My child is practicing/learning about 2 weeks of consistent practice
around 20 to 30 minutes a day. That small daily habit made a
big difference.

I met a tech problem after purchasing a simulation test. After emailing the help team from the Testprep-online company, I received prompt reply and the tech problem was solved within one day. Then I asked some business questions, the support team also managed to give me useful advice. I guess the peer teams from the company could make quick and efficient communications.

Testprep has won me over twice now. A couple of years ago my son (homeschooled) was nervous about his first standardized test so we used Testprep. It gave him confidence and he scored very well! So, today when my younger son who is now in the same position, I ordered the Map 8 test prep but accidentally bought it 3 times. Completely my fault. Within 2-3 hours their customer service took care of it and refunded my money. They were kind about it, too! Both my sons are dyslexic and on the spectrum. Testprep has really helped them gain confidence with standardized testing and helped fill in some gaps of their grammar 😊

My son has been doing Testprep-online for MAP since the 5th grade. The practice questions have been very helpful in terms of increasing his confidence in taking standardized exams and preparing him for the MAP tests each year. He has consistently scored above the 90th percentile on MAP since starting this program. Highly recommend!!

I love this site, my child get on and it excited when going through the test question and seeing her results at the end. We act as though she is in her classroom setting and she takes her time rea the question or listen to the passage and answers the question. Her teacher noticed how she has improved on her math and reading over all especially when they do online assignments and her scores have improved by 65 to 80 points...

I recently purchased this online test prep program for my daughter, and I’m so glad I did. She found the lessons clear, the practice tests very helpful, and the overall experience really boosted her confidence before her upcoming exam. It made studying much less stressful — definitely worth it!

Customer service responded quickly and resolved any issues I was having. The email responses were quick and polite.

I attempted to make a payment through their website, but the transaction wouldn’t go through, supposedly due to technical issues. So I tried using a different creditcard, where the same payment issue arises. Shortly after, I began receiving emails urging me to use different credit cards or alternative payment methods. This raised serious red flags and made the entire experience feel suspicious and untrustworthy.

My request was considered in a veru quick manner

I purchased the Criticall study software for my son. They advertise that anyone who purchased the software did better on the actual test after using their software. Well my son studied extensively with their software and did worse the next time he took the actual test. I contacted them and instead of refunding the fee paid for the software they terminated his being able to use their software for the remainder of the period paid for with no refund!!! Wish I could give them a zero. Don’t want to see anyone else scammed. I contacted them twice and, despite them stating they will reply within 24 hours, I have yet to hear from anyone in well over a week.

The actual testing materials are scant and don't seem leveled appropriately. They also require you to complete the activities or you lose all data. Frustrating for kids who work slowly.

This is a great resource. I haven't had any issues with it so far. We purchased a Prep pack and everything went smoothly for my child to practice.

Updating my review: They refunded 70% of the fee. (I still need to check my credit card) However, I am not deleting my previous review because it is not about money. I will need to spend more time finding test prep materials for my daughter, who is going to take the test this week. Customer service was great, but the issues with the website and the inconvenience have not been resolved. I just cannot recommend TestPrep-Online.

I wish I could give 0 stars! I bought a family membership to allow my kids to take any level of grade test. This time, when I tried to log in, I couldn’t do it. I had to email customer service, and once the login issue was resolved, I was finally able to access my account. However, everything had changed. All my information was deleted, and I was no longer a family member. When I logged in again, I found that I couldn’t do any other tests unless I paid for them. Previously, I could take and practice any test, but now they’ve limited everything and are asking for more money! It’s a total scam, and I completely wasted my money. I’m angry, and I want to let people know so no other parent has to go through the ridiculous experience I’ve had. Their family membership won’t do anything. Please DO NOT PAY for nothing. I am going to ask refund.

Bought the family test pack and after using it for two days, all the uploaded test pack magically disappeared. 24/7 help is non existent and email given does not work. Two kids sitting for their exam in 2 days time are stressing out.
