Shambles

Enquired about a villa, was told it was available, and sent us an invoice and terms and conditions after the owner accepted the booking. We then booked £700 worth of flights only to be emailed to say the villa was already booked and nothing they can do about it. Told to just look on other websites for accommodation as there is nothing they can do. Shambles.

Cornisa 1-7

I gave it two stars because of the amazing views from the balcony that's where it ends the apartment is tired and needs to be refurbished through out we had to wash all cups plates cutlery etc because they either wasn't washed properly or they smelt musty through the old damp cupboards, the bathroom smelt of sewage every day and we had a back flow of water that came half way up the bath come shower from the plug and also in the kitchen sink at the same time they did fix it the same day a Plummer came round with a plunger said it was just the Tenerife pluming they advertise there is English TV one channel BBC news they advertise welcome pack not even a bottle of water and last but not least we had a pneumatic drill drilling away every weekday morning at 8.00am till around 15.00pm under our balcony which they was holding up with planks and metal acrows which we had to walk under to get out of the apartment because it was the only access to and from the apartment a email warning us that that they maybe some building work more like major structure work being carried out would have been nice but it seems THA Don't do nice.

I have used this company many times and…

I have used this company many times and they are extremely professional, a family run business who have been operating for over 25 years. They run a 24/7 emergency support mobile for out of hours, who then connect with a local office and maintenance team. I've never had any problems with them as a company as in not dealing with an issue whilst we were on holiday. If we had a bulb out or a toilet which did not flush, we just called up the office or the help number and they just arranged for someone local to come out, if it was not that day, then it was the next day, so we could not complain. They have office support locally in Los Gigantes and the lady is English, as are most of the maintenance team and cleaners, so there's no problems of translation and everyone is very helpful. I have found THA to be very open and straight talking, they offer a range of 2/3 bed apartments and Villas and always provided an honest opinion on position, fit out and quality of the different properties. Obviously the newly refurbished trendy properties are more expensive than some of the more basic properties, but we never had any concerns of cleanliness. We always book the moment we have finished a trip, but often go 2/3 times a year. They don't take security deposits and we've never felt over charged or stuck with extra charges once leaving a property, which has happened with other companies. Bottom line THA run a friendly and professional service, they are very knowledgeable about the area and with useful tips and advice. Can definitely recommend them as a professional company who provide an excellent service; tried and tested.

Excellent company!

I’ve been going with this company for a number of years and have found them nothing but completely professional. I have stayed in various apartments around los Gigantes and have lived everyone of them. We go back every year and THA have always been on hand to help with any issues. My kettle broke down and they provided another one the next day. The UK representative is always happy to help. Would definitely recommend.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE & FILTHY APARTMENTS!!

I’ve given this company 1 star because I have to, in reality they deserve no stars. At all costs avoid booking anything with this company. Their apartments, the majority based in Tamara Complex, are old and dated and most importantly filthy dirty.

When we arrived the glass gate had a large crack through it which worsened after strong winds, we advised THA of this after my son cut his foot open on a piece of glass from it, they failed to reply to my email and sent a very rude maintenance man round who demanded money to fix the gate calling us liars and insinuating we had smashed the gate.

The pool area is gross, long grass, dirty pool with paint peeling from it, mouldy shower, bird poo littered floor with a prison style wire fence surrounding it. There was not a single person around that pool in the time we were there as it was unusable.

The apartment was tired and dirty, we had a shrivelled bar of soap with pubic hair stuck to it when we arrived. The whole apartment had not been cleaned properly for some time, there are too many things to list here.

I complained to THA about this, whilst out there on the advice of the rude maintenance man, requesting a partial refund and their technique is to try and turn it back onto you implying it was our fault as we didn’t contact them sooner, no apology, nothing.

So now I have to take legal action because, quite frankly, they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this.

bad service, ignorant when problems arise

I have used Tenerife Holiday Apartments as a Vacation rental for the last time ever

We have just visited Los Gigantes and stayed 2 weeks in a flat ( Cornissa 1-6 ) which was booked through this company. You can't say bad things about weather and view but the interior of the flat was pretty lousy. But I can live with that as long as the rest is working. The coffee maker didn't exist. When I called next day and told that it was broken. They just told me, that it was the owners responsibility what was available in the flat. I was told to contact the UK office which I did and got a not so friendly lady in the phone without no doubt pretty annoyed by this call. We received a coffee maker the next day and I hoped to have no further contact with her.

Unfortunately Saturday in the last week we were at the pool area for 2 hours and when we got back my wife discovered that someone had been in the flat. She told me that she could see that someone had messed in the closet. I checked my wallet and 200€ was gone and a pair of sunglasses but the 2 I-phones and I-pad was still there. We knew for certain that the flat was locked because we to days back reported that we had seen people enter the flat next door through the window. When I later told the "not so friendly " lady that she said this was pretty normal ( ??? ). Nevertheless I had to call the UK office once more and reported this incident and this time she was "Not Friendly" . I simply don't have words to describe her behavior. It was impossible that someone could get into the flat without breaking in and throughout the three conversations I had with her she was totally persistent and even laughed when I tried to convince her that someone with a key had entered the flat.

I asked for the lockers to be changed and she told me this was impossible because of bank holidays. It was sat jan 6. To days later a man came and changed one of the lockers ( there were three) and I tried to tell him that, but impossible. He couldn't speak two words of english.

The rest of the holiday we had to bring all Our belongings with us. We are pretty sure thet it was one of the cleaning wives that cleaned the apartmen thursday and the incident happened Saturday.

I can live with he loss but I can't live with a total ignorant attitude from this company.

You are far better off using HomeAway , AirBnb – here you have a direct contact with the owner as this would have been far better in Our case
