Fast shipment, the book was in excellent condition, everything is good!

I don't understand how awfully can work this biggest book company (in Germany and Austria)?! I booked a simple children book in English, but only 3 weeks (!) later it was delivered to my address in Bonn. BUT it was a WRONG book in German!! I was ready to replace it but no way - the shop just took their wrong book and promised to transfer my money back. So I have to look for another gift for my child ((
In my mind, German companies were the most accurate but not in this case... Perhaps, Thalia was secretly purchased by the CPC (surf about a scandal with it)??

Thalia.de ist mit Abstand eine der schlechtesten Websites, die ich je gesehen habe. Sie lügen eklatant über die Versandzeiten, weil sie nicht einmal die Artikel haben!!! Sie verwenden eine sehr kriminelle Technik, um Artikel, die sie nicht haben, zu einem reduzierten Preis anzubieten, damit man bei ihnen statt bei Amazon oder anderen Websites kauft, weil sie jeden Tag an Konkurrenz verlieren. Dann lassen sie Sie nicht wissen. Sie lassen Sie warten, und wenn Sie Wochen später anrufen, antworten sie: Nein, tut uns leid, wir haben es nicht. In der Zwischenzeit behalten sie Ihr Geld. Wenn Sie sich zwischen dieser Website und einer anderen entscheiden müssen, wählen Sie bitte eine andere und lassen Sie die Finger von thalia.de!

WENN SIE IHREN ARTIKEL ZU WEIHNACHTEN HABEN WOLLEN, KAUFEN SIE HIER NICHT, AUCH WENN ES HEISST, DASS DER ARTIKEL SOFORT VERSANDBEREIT IST!

Thalia.de is by far one of the worst websites I have ever seen. They blatantly lie about the shipping times because they don't even have the articles!!! They use a very criminal technique of putting items they don't have at discounted price so that you buy from them instead of Amazon or other websites, because they are loosing competition every day. Then, they won't let you know. They will keep you waiting and weeks later when you call them they will answer: no sorry, we don't have it. In the meantime they keep your money. If you are to choose between this website and another, please please please choose another one and keep your fingers away from thalia.de!

IF YOU WANT TO HAVE YOUR ITEM FOR CHRISTMAS, DON'T BUY HERE EVEN IF IT SAYS THAT THE ITEM IS AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING IMMEDIATELY!

I am impressed with their stock! Most books I look for are available here. If I need to order online, I always look at Thalia first, for German and English books. The first time I used Thalia.de I had difficulties. But these were taken care of, even if a little late, in a friendly manner, which I appreciate. Since then I have had problem free service. The pricing is also very reasonable!

Three times already problems. Now ordered a toy for Chistmas, using black friday coupon code - now on sad tuesday I received a cancellation email.
Every time another problem happens. Do not order there. You should not offer good that are not at stock - where is the problem? If I have 10, I sell 10.

Weeks after the book should have arrived they notice that it's not even in storage. Just wasted my time AGAIN. Not the first time this happened with them but definitely the last time. Taking my business to a legit Bookstore who appreciates their customer.

My order was fast delivered. Everything was great.

It was really disappointing. I thought I could get 2 books faster if I order them on Thalia - from a big store that literally specializes in selling books I expected way faster shipping. I ordered the books in advance before going away and thought I would recieve them on time. It took them several days to even start processing my order and the book arrived after I left. The delivery was packaged badly, the package arrived open (they didn't seal the package properly). The bulky open package was just hanging out of my standard size mailbox, luckily none of my neighbors are thiefs. Really disappointed that I paid full price for slow delivery, I should have purchased the cheaper used versions of the books from the auction website instead or should have just went into the psychical Thalia store if I wanted it fast. Not gonna order from them online again any time soon, I expected more.

The worst thing that anybody could do is purchase or pre-order anything from Thalia. It’s been 30 days since I’ve placed my order that should have been picked up 2 weeks ago, but till now I couldn’t get my refund although I canceled the order!! The customer service is chaos and helpless. They won’t complete the cancelation and refund anything until the order arrives to the specified Thalia branch for pickup. God knows is this will take them a year to resolve!!! My first and definitely last experience!!

I used to like Thalia, until they sold me e-book with damaged formatting. Instead of letters äöü there were "??" signs. Then they didn't reply to my e-mails. Really didn't expect it from my ex-favourite bookstore.

Ordered from them to ship from Germany to the uk. *8 Euro very reasonable. They said that due to corona and other factors orders could take a little longer, but it was there within not even a week! Well packaged, and just as ordered. So happy and will definitely order again!

I was looking for a vinyl I couldn't find elsewhere so I've found it on Thalia.de as "available". I've bought it, spending my money to find out the product was out of stock after one entire month. They've refunded me but it's been a struggle to have any sure answer before. I really think it's my worst e-commerce experience ever. Good thing that the refund happened unexpectedly fast.

Thalia has such an amazing variety of books! I always love taking a stroll around their stores and buying my favorite books, but this was the first time that I used their online service and really loved it! It was quite easy to use, and the book arrived perfectly on time! Highly recommend it!

I received my order after few days. It was nice and well packed. I definitively recommend this bookstore
