The Barn cafe surrounded by greenery has a stunning view of the Thames
The Barn cafe, attached to Surrey Dock Farm, is a really lovely little cafe with a view of the Thames and surrounded by greenery. The outdoor seething is nicely space, with beautiful surroundings. The space inside is a little on the small side, but it doesn’t matter, because the service is quick. The staff are friendly and patient, he explained the food when we asked questions. All the food is really fresh and looks so good, with generous portions. I got a bottled fruit juice that had carrot and ginger in, and the plain sausage roll, which was actually full of flavour, and good quality Cumberland type meat. The staff member accidentally knocked it and straight away grabbed a different sausage for me, without me having to even ask, immaculate hygiene and attention to detail, an extra bonus, if I could give 6 stars, I would. I was really tempted by the cakes, they had all my favourites. This is a great location for lunch, or to sit whilst waiting for a friend. It’s family friendly and there’s vegetarian options. I will be back again.
