Scum artists

Please read the reviews below. This company is a scam. Sending letters to old addresses on behalf of energy companies that went bust. My previous occupiers had this company as their supplier. They never replied when I moved in and after much chasing admitted they were at fault over a £25 outstanding debt. Now apparently it’s £125 plus the admin fee for BSB of £50. They won’t respond to emails despite having the confirmation from utility point. The people at this firm should be ashamed of their employment. There is no client service and they just threaten to send bailiffs round. Absolutely disgusting company. I would ask the director of this company to respond to some of the comments below or anyone from the company. Look them up on companies house and there is a Facebook page plus additional contact details on Google.

Demanding Without Soul - Very Bad People!

They seem to work for failed electricity supply companies.
When these companies failed and Barratt Smith & Brown started collecting outstanding accounts, huge debts that were never mentioned by the original company, suddenly appear!
They email you with threats...
But they do not answer reply emails.
Then when you telephone them, they do not answer the phone.
Despite numerous emailed replies and voicemails to BSB, they say "you failed to respond" and then add additional admin fees for "failing to respond".
They telephoned me once at the beginning and insisted on full payment - no payment plan!

Received a threatening letter (by post)…

Received a threatening letter (by post) for an Igloo account. ,which has been taken over by E-on ,after their collapse

It is just nonsense , as I actually had a final CREDIT ,and indeed received a cheque from e-on , not a debt !!

It's a scam

The Director of Utilities Collections is Ian Deacon , he should be reported to the police fraud ombudsman

BSB - Immoral & Unethical - wont admit their mistakes

Despite paying an account for Zog Energy to BSB, they kept on sending threatening emails, texts etc for the next 3 months demanding payment. Then on contacting them to ask them to check their records, they refused to send a letter of apology for their unacceptable harassing and threats. Vile company with zero ethics.

Demanding money with no evidence supplied

Demanding money but despite over 10 emails, no evidence supplied as to why. When questioned I get another threatening email or text about bailiffs and no answers to my queries. Have pleaded for answers but just got told that they will take me to court unless I pay, despite not being able to substantiate the demand or answer my queries.

Harrassing company, likely scam

Demanding supposed outstanding fees from utility point account over 2 years ago, providing no proof that I owe any money. Have informed them I didnt have any outstanding debt and asked for proof which they can't provide, yet they continue to harrass me and threaten court action! From previous reviews I think they are a fraudulent company and am awaiting a reply to my complaint before I contact ombudsman

It’s time their director was revealed and sued

It’s time
This company it’s brought DOWN report them to their own regulatory body and then use a influencer to gain momentum on Facebook and Twitter

Use this method as well as taking them to the county count once an order is obtained send your own bailiffs to them this is an excellent was of stopping companies like these as they never think they themselves will get taken to Court fined their ltd company director (heather) do a company search at companies house to reveal her address use a tracing agent to find her home address and print this into the public domain

This WILL be happening heather be Warned !

?????

I purchased diet products from an American company based in UK...Juice Plus for £89.
The product made me violently sick. I contacted the company to discuss. They agreed for me to send all products back. I did..
This was then partially refunded of £42.85. Which I have proof in my bank account.
Now in 2022 I keep having emails and telephone calls saying I'm in debt of £89 from this company BSB.
I've emailed and spoken to this company numerous times and I still keep having emails and again automated phone calls.
I've stated that im going through chemotherapy that I do NOT need this as well to rectify ASAP. Just ignored! Avoid both companies!!!
Get your act together BSB!!!!

NO STARS ACTUALLY

Keep receiving emails for an old debt owed to Orbit Energy which was taken over by Scottish Power, all outstanding balances have been paid and keep getting emails for this. Have answered saying these have been paid and no replies obtained whatsoever.
Will report.

Incompetence does not begin to describe these bullies.…

I would not even award one star to this company if it were possible. Believe that they are scammers. They keep sending emails, but they are no reply ones. I eventually managed to get from them final statement from Utility Point and was able to check my bank accounts for the relevant period. I do not owe them money. The staff are rude and unhelpful. It took ages for me to get the information I needed to check the validity of their claim. From now on if I get an email from them I will just delete it.

I found myself in a coma which I spent…

I found myself in a coma which I spent several years in. I fell into a reverse of a number of companies obviously because I spent 2 years of my life and Hospital and I've only just learnt to walk.

I was unfortunate enough to have have this company contact me over a 45 pound debt from dog when they run out of business and didn't send the Debt to the new provider like they said they would. These people showed up making all sorts of threats and demands thought that they could force me into paying what they wanted me to pay but I stood my ground and even today we haven't made an agreement but I'm just beyond Caring at the moment I've got so much going on so I set up a payment for £5 a month and £5 a month they are getting whether they agree to it or not.

I'm not going in to the do's and don'ts for debt collection agencies but I will say that this is the only collection agency that didn't write the Debt off and close my account. Every single other agency that I was dealing with including one that has taken me to court while I was in my coma just wrote thousands and thousands of pounds worth of debt and this company couldn't even write £45 off.

Employing only the least intelligent staff combined with the empathetic approach of Hilter. They did not care about my situation what I'd they did not care about my situation what I'd been through and were insistent on bullying me for the recovery of this money this tiny some of money.

You can't reply to their emails you have to mess around on the website trying to find a way of contacting them and I didn't even find a way of doing that I ended up having to write to them the old-fashioned way. What sort of company sends email from somewhere that you can't reply to I actually thought it was a joke I thought it was spam at first.

They kept saying that they could only set up 15 pounds a month but I just simply set up five pounds a month ignored them and have ever since and they can do whatever they like because I don't care anymore that's what they're getting and that's what I done myself because these people don't seem to want to make an arrangement for repayment of anything.

No excuse for arrogant rude staff and I'm sorry but people like this will be dealing with people with mental health issues or all sorts of issues really I can't imagine what it would be like having mental health issues and dealing with these people I'm sorry but the company should just be shut down no excuse I'll be embarrassed to work for these people genuinely..

This is genuinely the only collection agency that didn't write the debt off. I had everything written off because I was in a coma I wasn't in a position to pay anything or do anything I lost everything my business my home my friends my partner everything so don't come to me demanding £45 because I just had so many other things to worry about.

Please don't be afraid to give them the same treatment they give you you I just hate people like this I hate companies like this no more all standards at all.

Asked on the behalf of my dad on several occasions for proof of debit but nothing back. When i finally got a reply was told there was a £50 admin charge as he'd not contacted them!!! When so called proof was sent it was by 7 emz files which were unable to open! either send proper proof or forget getting a single penny! I feel BSB are scammers!

Making sure people have extras fees to pay.

I was contacted regarding a supposed outstanding balance on an old utility bill. The initial contact was by email which was flagged as spam and I did not see. I then got text messages, with no information in them but asking me to call a number. These were identified by Apple as spam. A few months later I then get an email which came into my main inbox saying that there was now a £50 admin fee added to the account due to not getting in contact. This email had sufficient information in it for me to believe it could be genuine so I called them. They are asking for money for a debt which they are unable to supply proof that I owe until after I have made payment, that is absurd. When I pointed out that the reason I hadn’t been in touch was because their email went straight into spam so I didn’t see it and their text message is flagged as spam, the call handler said they were aware of that being the case. It feels like they are using theses methods of communication on purpose to trap people into getting additional charges applied to their account. They do no make phone calls and they do not send written letters, instead they are using methods that they know will not reach the person.

Sending threatening emails saying I owe money from when I was with Utility Point (which I left in Jan 2020) and despite a request for proof, nothing received from them except a further email saying I now owe another £50 admin fee for non payment.

Number comes up potential fraud

Number comes up potential fraud, will not send you any paper bills or proof who they are claiming they work for igloo energy.
The staff are argumentative and simply cut you off if you can get through in the first place. My bill was thankfully small but to someone with a large energy bill not knowing who your paying and the lack of any kind of proof would be very scary.
