The daily emails and the site in general are good, but there are a few issues with it that kill the overall experience. One is late information, in many cases the articles on the site and in the email have been in the news for three to five days and in many cases they seem to be the last to know something happened...case in point is missing crucial recalls on other models while focusing on trivial "yet another" recall on specific manufacturers. Another drawback that I've encountered is the ever evolving opinion of an article by their writers. You can go in and read a review and they are loving every bit of a new model and praise it to the highest mountain top. Go show that article to a friend in a day or so and suddenly they utterly hate everything about it. It's like they read articles elsewhere and decided to run with popular opinion rather than their own. So overall its a decent source of information, but you can get the same information much quicker and with less opinion sway elsewhere.

Great for receiving info of new and up and coming cars

I like the daily email I get. It's a good source and synopsis of what's new in the auto industry. And the headlines make it easy to dig down deeper if I want to.

Not too much information nor too little. I enjoy the way the car connections headlines the current information with great links to more specific videos and articles if one has a particular interest in a vehicle. If I am in a hurry, I still get awareness of upcoming vehicles and/or technology.`

This was my first time doing online research for a new car. TCC helped me price and compare the different models, but more importantly helped me locate a dealership in my area with the perfect car within my price range. Highly recommend for anyone who isn't too familiar with the car buying process! Super simple!

I really liked the research tools on this site, especially "My Showroom" - which lets me compile a few different makes in one place! The site is clean and easy to find detailed info for a new or used vehicle.

I consider The Car Connection's website to be more user-friendly than most other car websites. I don't like seeing huge ads upon ads, and Car Connection's website lets me focus on the reviews, which I like. I do wish however that they'd expand their video reviews..

I've long recommended the Car Connection to anyone looking for in-depth, reliable information about new cars. They're particularly good at approaching cars from the perspective of real consumers rather than the performance enthusiasts to whom many automotive sites and magazines cater.

It was a very valuable site when I was trying to decide between a few different cars. They gave the car I ended up buying an 8.2 overall rating and the other cars I was deciding between a little bit lower score. Definitely helped me on the final decision.

I had not heard of TheCarConnection.com before, but when I was researching the purchase of my new Lexus IS I came across them in a Google search--and I'm glad I did! I've read a lot of reviews on the IS from several sites (e.g. Edmunds, KBB, Car and Driver, etc.) but I have to say I was impressed with the level of un-biased detail in TheCarConnection write-up. I also found the rating system helpful, particularly as I compared the IS to other competing models. Good job Car Connection, keep it up.
