Inconsiderate Contractor!

This completely inconsiderate contractor regularly blocks and closes roads for days or weeks at a time with little or no notice around Hawkhurst and right across Kent causing long diversions and/or traffic chaos and 1000’s of wasted hours for residents. They then dig a dinner plate sized hole, which they generally then leave for long periods with traffic lights in place whilst no work whatsoever is going on. Today, I’ve wasted 25 minutes queueing on the A21 at Bewl Water at one set of traffic lights where no work was going on at all, and then at another set outside Hawkhurst Cottage Hospital, ditto. Both have been like that for days! Here’s an idea, Clancy: if your men are incapable of arriving at a job and completing it same day (which seems to be the case on every job you commence in this area!), how about covering your holes with a road plate and removing your traffic lights when you’re not on site? The contempt you show for the general public is shocking. You make a good partner to the water companies you work for who also treat us all as an inconvenience! Roll on the day when they finally renationalise the water companies and employ some considerate contractors again.
