Bought the ‘ultimate bundle’ on their website- no shipping for months, so I emailed their customer support, no answer. DM’d them on insta- left on read. Started leaving comments, they’d get deleted. Finally filed a complaint with Shopify, only to discover they don’t do anything but ‘pass the complaint along’. All while the original ‘publishing’ company had changed to Mortis Publishing.

No one. Finally decided enough was enough and their Insta is gone (or I’m blocked) and their website is gone.

My order has never arrived. Seller doesn't answer to emails or direct messages. This is a scam.

Ordered their book. Took my money. Never arrived. Have reported the page on Instagram but they're still up and running and continuing to scam people.

Paid for 2 of the books. Never received them. Sent emails, Instagram messages, shop pay messages. I contacted the seller.. never heard anything back and still have not received my book. Now if you follow the website link via Instagram the whole website is gone.

Never arrived, tried to contact the website via various ways, never got a response.

Order the book “Behind the Tape” as advertised from truecrimemag on instagram. They have a shop on Shopify. Buyer beware this is a full on scam. I’m going to have to dispute with my bank. I ordered 7/5/25 charges the 7th. I have emailed them twice with no response.

Ordered a book from them on december 11th and only got 1 email reply saying the book was scheduled to be released on january, still waiting for the shipping of my book but as people here have stated, I don't think i'll ever recieve anything.
Edit: it's currently february 16th and still haven't recieved anything

Saw them advertising an ebook bundle on Instagram which I purchased and did have downloaded. I have been trying to redownload them, but I cannot find my purchase anywhere on the website once I've logged in. They do not respond to any emails, Instagram messages or Facebook messages at any point; I've sent over 20 messages in the past few months and have had no response at all.
I would avoid them at all costs as something doesn't seem right!

My email address was signed up to their promotional/marketing emails, not by me and when I have unsubscribed they have somehow managed to sign me back up again instantly! I’ve had 4 emails from them in 24hrs. I’ve ended up blocking their email address because it’s clearly a scam from all these reviews!

I was under the impression if you pay $10 once you’ll have lifetime access.. WRONG! I keep getting charged $10 every month and have contacted them multiple times with no reply. I’m currently going through my bank to hopefully block anymore transactions from them. Total scam so annoyed!

Scammed like everyone else it seems pod for a book that has never been released shame on them!! Wish I had seen this before I ordered

Absolute joke - wish I had seen the reviews before I ordered!

I ordered the book bundle back in Jan 2023. It originally said it was in dollars. But I was charged in pounds, and then an additional exchange rate. Have not received the items. I have reached out to them numerous times via their website contact us option but still have yet to receive a response. Trying to go through my bank now to get a refund since I never received the items. Not sure what will happen with that but seriously, this whole experience is ridiculous.

Ordered an E book last September. Still haven't received it. I should of read the reviews first.

I bought two ebook, I only received one which was actually pretty cool. But the other one (preordered) back in September 24th, 2022. Still haven't be sended or provide link even when they stated completed. This feel like a scam and I have even contact them about 4 time in each Different month too. Still no reply.

STAY AWAY.

2 months still nothing. They never answered any of my emails either. Now who knows what they will do with my card info smh.

Same boat as every one else. Ordered Behind The Yellow Tape of something like that, paperback, and in USD (I’m Canadian so the conversion sucked). Avoid these guys. Emailed them asking about confirmation weeks ago and haven’t received a reply.

Got scammed!!! I feel so stupid!!! I purchased the ‘Behind the Tape’ book and never got a confirmation email.
I emailed them, no reply. Only now I decided to read the reviews. Too late!!!
Is the a way to report this site for fraud?? To Google or fraud site?
I’m worried about my card payment details they have now!!
