Had 4 EPCs carried out last week and the chap who came out from thedeas couldn’t have been more helpful. Told me what I needed to do to get the best rating and explained everything clearly. Reports came same day. The poor reviews must be fake or picky people! Charles Lock

Takes payment and doesn't do the EPC

Was asked to pay in advance for an EPC to be done June last year. It was never done and after chasing for several weeks, they still haven't refunded the money and are ignoring emails

I don't normally write reviews but I…

I don't normally write reviews but I almost didn't use this company because of the bad reviews on here so I thought it was important to share mine. I received my quote, booked in the assessor, he turned up on time and was very nice. The invoice was emailed to me and once paid I promptly received confirmation that my EPC was lodged and the email had a link to it on HMRC. Very efficient, very good price.

Great experience

Great experience and a fraction of the normal price . I booked an assessor to visit a property that I let. They were flexible on timings and arranged to contact the tenant en route. I was invoiced after the visit and the certificate was issued the next morning . Nothing to fault so I am puzzled with the bad reviews

Wrong EPC and cannot rectify issues

I have arranged EPC assessor through them, but received invoice from Stephen Joselin (energy assessor). The bank details on the invoice did not belong to neither the DEAS nor Stephen Joselin, but an assessor Jake Ellis. Now, the problem is that they did not even calculate the area of the property correctly. They just calculated a square shape, while actual shape is not square. That means not only the size of the property is wrong, but energy they calculated to heat the property too. I have contacted DEAS, asessor, accreditation scheme Storma, and the register of EPC Landmark more than twice each, since October, but the problem has not been rectified. I contacted them all before the EPC was uploaded to the website, but the wrong EPC is online. When I contacted the DEAS, they thought I am someone who has already complained for the wrong address entered on EPC. Very bad. They advertise for energy assessor, but Company House says their nature of business is 'other business support service activities'. I would find someone who actually invoice directly for their business.

Horrendous. Avoid

Horrendous. I've added this company to trustpilot so they gain the reputation they deserve due to their incompetence and appalling customer service. They're cheaper than other quotes for EPCs and there's a reason as you will then spend 2 weeks phoning them daily once you've paid and provided all of the required paperwork for them to repeatedly fail to send it to you. And if you speak to the owner of the company as I had the pleasure of doing he will say it's not his fault he didnt do the assessment, the assessor will say it's not his fault as he has no access to his work emails and then when you ask for a refund of the fee as it states on their website unless you are 100% satisfied the owner will blame you for not having emailed them the loft certificate quickly enough despite having informed them you were waiting on that from another incompetent company. Incompetence backed up by stupidity. And when you write a review about your experience online the owner of the company will try and remove your epc from the register in order to effect the sale of your house which demonstrates exactly the sort of person you're dealing with.
