Temping location at watermark is awful
Temping location at watermark is awful. Customer service is the worst of any location being that I had a visit three in one day because the Tempe location cannot schedule an appointment without making mistakes or forgetting information. Very disappointing when arriving very rude not helpful. Get an address at all had to sit and wait for no reason while they did nothing to help, I do not Recommend this location
ZERO customer service
As a mother's day gift, my husband bought me the expensive Buttercup. It broke (literally heard the piece break) in the middle of drying my hair in November. I had the hair dryer for 6 months. DryBar claims to have a 1 year product warranty. After a bunch of back and forth, they finally agreed to replace the broken dryer if I sent it in first. UPS shows they received my shipment on December 5th.
Today (January 23) I received the WRONG product as a replacement. For a $200 hairdryer that could have been replaced by the store, but the store refused to swap it out, I have now waited almost 2 months and Got a curling iron instead of a hairdryer.... This company does not care about customers.
Worst Customer Service for Returns
Beware of this company if you need to return an item. I would give Drybar ZERO stars if I could. Had to call them to start a return. Was told I would receive UPS return label within the hour. Never received it. Had to call back. Was told they could not find my account. (Its funny how they recognize you immediately by your phone number, they took my money and sent items, but now they cannot find my account.) Issue had to be escalated to a supervisor. Never received label again. Had to call back. Finally received my label two weeks later. I then shipped the item back. Another two weeks went by and still have not received my refund. Had to call them a 4th time, and again was told they couldn't find my account. They could see that the item was returned and they received it, but were having trouble processing a refund. They again had to escalate issue to supervisor. Days later called back again and was told issue was resolved and I should receive my money within 24-72 hours. Never received it. Called back again. Was told sorry, I should receive my refund within next two days. Again l have not received my refund. Had to call back again...I believe this is the 7th or 8th time I have had to call this company. I was told there was communication problems between their system and my credit card. (Again funny how they were able to immediately take my money with the card I provided, but now their system cannot communicate properly to provide a return). So they will issue a check to me for the refund and I should receive it in 10-15 BUSINESS days. They have had my money since November, the return product since December and, now on January 17, I still have to wait another two weeks for a refund. I will NEVER buy from Drybar again!!
Horrendous company
Horrendous company. You have to contact them to get a return no for returns - their email address bounces back undelievered there is no return address on the web site and no other way of contacting - no phone number - no chat. Avoid at all costs
Dry Bar offered a free service and then acted like they did not
I had a 2:15 pm appointment at the Beverly Hills store on Tuesday. At 2:05 pm, when I was just about to enter, a front desk person called to tell me they couldn’t give me a service that day. When I entered the store, she explained that they had to close the shop because she had to leave and they didn’t have anyone else to close the store. She told me I could have an appointment on Wednesday and that it would be free. So I retuned on Wednesday and explained the situation. The woman from Tuesday did not leave any notes or tell her manager what she promised. The store gave me $20 off but that was not what was promised. It’s not nice to treat your long time customers like that.
Unprofessional
Unprofessional. The staff is poorly trained and you cannot trust them to know the policies and prices nor manage your account as requested.
I have a half shot round brush dryer
I have a half shot round brush dryer. The bristles are falling out and the handle is getting too hot to hold. This product is a newer product which hasn’t been out for 2 years, but unable to exchange without receipt. My receipt was too faded to read. Sent pictures and bar code from box but that was not enough. They basically said they could not help. I like their products but I wish they took pride in products and supported their customers. Their products are not cheap.
worst customer service.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had my DryBar curling wand for maybe a year and a half. When I plug it in and turn it on it comes on and heats up, but when I go to curl my hair it shuts off. I bought it from Ulta, and obviously they can’t go back farther than a year in their system, so they recommended me call DryBar. I do not keep receipts of purchases that far back, and when I called to try and get my problem resolved I was told they had to have proof of purchase. There is no way for that besides a picture of my curling wand. They were 0 help to resolving my issue.
Falling service
l have been a barfly member for many years. In the beginning they were pretty consistent and mostly on time. Lately there is a big difference between what you can expect from your hair style, but one of the most frustrating things has been the untimeliness. Today I was seated 40 minutes after my appointment time. This is not the first time this has happened and is to the point I will cancel my membership and there are newer blow out places I will try.
Bad review for the El Segundo Store…
Bad review for the El Segundo Store receptionists and manager.
The receptionist offered me water and never came back with anything but gave everyone else drinks. I had a coupon when i booked and they said it would be valid. The day of the receptionist said he checked with the manager and she said it was only valid certain days. I asked where does it state that and neither he or the manager Jasmine bothered to show me that clause. I felt like they didn't value me as a paying customer and i had already had the service so i had to pay for things when I wasn't treated with respect. The customer service response was so vague, stating they are sorry and will pass along my comments. What kind of value do they put on customers! I am not happy with how they treat clients and supposedly the owner reads all of the comments but she has yet to reply so i am voicing this for everyone to read.
FistDry Bar is not so "Dry" more like "HOT"!
First, I have to admit I love the color and marketing of this brand. It's intuitive and a play on words. I mean "Dry" "Bar" really?? Brilliant! Now, do their products hold up to their packaging in taking a nod from OPI with truly clever names like "Deputy and "Sheriff" for hairspray? I have to say they do. May be a bit overpriced- but if the Living Proof, Sebastian, Tony & Guy (Tigi), were all our on the table- I'd head to the Dry Bar. The fragrance is excellent and your man will use it too without losing a hair of masculinity. :0)!
P.S.I always read the fine print and they have a full 365 day warranty on their products, compounded by being carried by Ulta, Sephora, AND NORDSTROM?? You have a winner. Tip: Save your money on the brush that looks like a wet brush. It pretty much is with a softer handle. But it's so damn cute. I had to get it.
Be very careful before you purchase…
Be very careful before you purchase anything from this company. I got the buttercup hairdryer which was cheap and broke in a matter of a few months. I used the dryer once abroad and it was ruined overall I would say I used the product less than 10 times. Product does not contain the proper warnings.
