Not from Solihull but visiting my daughter. They were marvellous with their advice. I said I would try locally in Norfolk and they were okay with that. However, Norfolk failed me, they were over £200 more expensive, so my daughter contacted Solihull branch and they agreed to send me one! Brilliant service! And one of the staffs Mum live 5 miles flown the road from me!

Absolutely appalling, disgraceful and shocking service i received on my £4000 emtb. Do not shop here.
I was given my bike back after a service with 19 issues caused by the clearly unqualified technician
Combination of cosmetic, internal and safety issues.
I was lied to by the technician on many accounts.
It was only when I had my bike serviced by a qualified technician, I was made aware of 12 internal safety issues ranging from cranks put back incorrectly. Loose bolts. Loose nuts. Brake hose fitted backwards and incorrectly.
I am not knowledgeable of ebike maintenance so when I was given my bike ,I trusted the shop to give me a satisfactory repair and service.
The above isnt even the worst of my appalling service I received. The technician destroyed my Bosch mini remote and claimed it must have happened in the factory.
Complete and utter fabrication of the truth. Lies all round. I did receive a refund of unused labour but the sheer audacity not admitting liability and offering compensation of safety, cosmetic and internal issues. Is an absolute joke. DO NOT SHOP AT THE ELECTRIC BIKE SHOP SHIRLEY. THEY EMPLOY LIARS AND UNQUALIFIED TECHNICIANS.
I was told a would receive a new mini remote from them, but again that was a total lie.
0 stars out of 5
I have also reported their store directly with cube also.
So the saga continues. Since you have given me an overconfident response in that you feel my complaint has been resolved sufficiently. I unfortunately regret to inform you otherwise.
So i am now compiling evidence to send to your distributor Oneway in order for them to understand the shocking realisation of my extremely poor service that was undertaken by Dylan at your Solihull store.
In the hopes that not one single person falls victim to the damaging effects of an unqualified technician servicing £4000+ ebikes.
Lewis Clarke does have my email address, however has decided to ignore the fact that I am owed compensation on top of my labour and mini remote replacement.
I do not think your head office understands the legal ramifications that have arisen from the shocking service I received from your clearly unqualified technician (Dylan)
Listed below is the unspeakable damage caused to my bike during service underneath his supervision
Exposed motor wiring from the housing exposed to the elements
Damaged Mini Remote
Front mudguard not replaced
Dust cap not replaced on shock
Incorrect screw replaced on front brake
The left and right cranks had been installed on the opposite, incorrect sides. This also meant by extension that the pedals were on the incorrect sides.
The Bosch Mini Remote on the handlebars was snapped.
The crank bolt covers were missing.
The rear shifter cable port cover was missing.
The spare port cover/plug bung on the Purion display was missing.
The motor bolt bushings had come out, and in the case of the front bolt, was completely missing.
Rear derailleur limit screws were both set fully unwound, and in completely useless
positions.
The angle of the brake hose leaving the front calliper was set incorrectly. It was angled towards the rear of the bike, not the front, putting unnecessary strain on the hose.
UDH was loose and moving freely.
Crank bolts were under-torqued and only hand tight.
Chainring lockring was under-torqued and only hand tight.
The brake calliper bolts were under-torqued. The rear were almost correct, the front were
hand tight.
Stem clamp bolts were under-torqued, although tight enough to stop the bars from rotating
under normal use. They would move while holding the front wheel still though.
The seat post clamp was under-torqued and only hand tight.
Both motor bolts were under-torqued, with the rear being hand tight only.
Cassette lockring was loose and able to unscrew freely without the use of a cassette tool or chainwhip.
While some of the visual concerns were minor and wouldn’t cause any issues when riding,
some of the physical concerns, loose bolts etc left the bike in a dangerous way and I
should not have been riding it in that condition. A lot of these issues are basic
safety checks that should be checked during and/or at the end of any service work.
I am by no means a mechanic to any degree. So leaving my £4000 bike with your store, I was trusting you to service my bike correctly.
I look forward to your response in your offer of compensation. Whether its via here, or by direct email from Lewis Clark

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Helped to to pick a bike that suited me perfectly and then when it arrived set it up for me and instructed me on how to use it.
I lost the computer from my electric bike so went back to order a new one. Nicky at the store in Shirley remembered me from when I bought the bike from their Knowle store a couple of years earlier which was very impressive on its own.
Nicky also arranged to drop the new computer off at my house as she lives in the same village. As promised a week later Nicky rang me and dropped it off the same day.
Fantastic service, thanks!!
I saw the bike that I liked on their website but rather than buy straight off the web, I went to the store to view and test ride a similar bike (the colour I wanted was not in shop). Also buying in store gave me access to £250 of free accessories.
The staff in store were extremely good in helping me fine-tune the order and I placed a £500 deposit.
Unfortunately two weeks after placing the order, on the day that the bike was due to be delivered to store, I was told that the bike was no longer available. I understand that this was a stock handling issue with the computer but nonetheless after a long search and a four hour round trip to the store I was still left without a bike.
The store staff were helpful in getting my deposit returned promptly by bank transfer rather than having to go to store again (a 4 hour round trip) and get it paid back to my card.
Overall although the staff were helpful, I still didn’t get the bike I thought that I’d bought.

I decided on which bike I was after and then ordered from The Electric Bike shop. There was a slight delay due to the supplier which I was always kept up to date with and when it arrived received a great handover. I would highly recommend. Nikki was great.

What a great experience from start to finish. Nikki and all the staff at Solihull branch were so helpful throughout. Novices to the ebike world but never made to feel that way. Helpful throughout buying process of 2 bikes, and even after purchase and had a small issue with gears , they were all even more helpful. Would certainly recommend to others. Well done to all at Solihull branch

I chose the electric bike shop as people I knew had made purchases prior and told me how good they were
I ordered my bike last October but it didn’t arrive till the end of June which was not the fault of the shop but they were very apologetic and kept me well informed
I very pleased with the service I received and would definitely recommend them to other people

Luke was extremely helpful when I collected my first e-bike on Saturday 18th June. He was very organised, the bike was ready and the handover was detailed and delivered in a friendly professional manner. The electric bike shop know their products and provided great advice during our purchase and kept us up to date with regular emails and phone calls prior to deliver. A great experience and I would buy from the company again
