They advertise prices from £895 but then turns out it’s a couple of hundred more if you want the ashes back, feels cheeky at a time of stress

My partner passed away unexpectedly aged 50 after less than a month of feeling unwell. I was devastated and heartbroken. All it took was one phone call and one email and his cremation only plan was sorted in full. I did have to wait the full 30 days for his ashes to be returned but other than this the service I received was excellent straightforward and professional. The price was the cheapest online and I was able to pay it out of my wages which was a godsend as his life insurance has yet to pay out 3 months after his death. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a cremation only plan and will be buying one for myself .

Thoughtful and empathetic throughout the whole procedure. I was very grateful to them taking care of our needs and wishes. I was assigned a Funeral Planner who went through everything and kept me informed at every step of the process. I was assigned a celebrant to officiate at our attended funeral and she couldn’t have been more perfect.

Booked a cremation only plan for my late father.
Registered all my details then received an email from them addressing me as a different name to what I had registered.
Completed the forms regarding my wishes to be carried out which specifically stated that the cremation remains were to be scattered then received an email telling me that their logistic team would be in touch to arrange a driver to deliver the remains.
Attention to detail is dreadful, customer service is generally poor (no response to my email) and the funeral directors they used to collect my father (Wessex Funeral Services) were nowhere near as professional and sympathetic as I would have expected. I'd suggest that you avoid these guys like the plague.
