Outstanding Christmas lunch at the George, kilsby. Staff as usual were amazing and every course was lovely. Beef Wellington cooked to perfection.
I love the creative food served at this pub. We've been quite a few times both as a family & with business associates, and everyone has been impressed by the creative menu, and fine food.
Christmas day lunch was a utter disgrace! Customers waiting over 2 hours to be seated and then being slowly served substandard food. Others leaving without eating. The owner chose to be greedy and massively overbooked. Many peoples Christmas day ruined
I recently had a wonderful experience at a business lunch at a local Pub/restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, especially the Asian tapas. The flavors were delicious and the presentation was impressive. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for an any lunch or evening meal business lunch. The combination of excellent food and outstanding service makes it the perfect choice I’m lucky as its walking distance
We went with a group of friends in the summer, we sat outside, the setting was amazing, like being on holiday! We’d heard great things about the new George at Kilsby and wanted to give it a go, we were not disappointed, the DJ outside was fantastic, the food was amazing, such a nice menu, the service was friendly and efficient… we then went again for my birthday, we sat inside this time, it’s equally as good, there were 17 of us and we had a great time, the food was amazing, again, delicious! Thank you for a lovely afternoon, definitely recommend and can’t wait to return :)
We arrived on the offchance they had room. It was my wifes birthday and we had long awaited to try the George for food as we had heard lots of great reviews.
Upon arrival we were greeted by two members of staff (Later found out that one of them was the owner) Very welcoming and a breath of fresh air when it comes to good Customer Service.
We ordered the Asian Tapas to eat between the two of us. Food is absolutely amazing!!
The waitress had overheard me stating it was my wifes birthday and just before bring the bill they turned on back ground music and brought a cake with a single candle on it. My wife was overwhelmed with joy. What a nice touch!
We will definitely be returning and to also look at an evening trip with friends.
