Love this place. Really great atmosphere! Staff always really helpful and friendly and always have smiles on their faces. Great equipment, always clean. This place has become my second home in the past year 😂 I absolutely love it! Well done to all the staff who make it such a great place to work out. 👏 👏 🌟

PS. Ignore the 1 star review from Richard Woolston. He used to be my neighbour and is an absolute jobsworth - literally moans about everything.

Welcoming and friendly atmosphere, cleaned regular, plenty of equipment, lots of parking and supportive, helpful and encouraging staff.

For those reading these reviews that have never stepped foot near a gym let alone inside one, deciding whether to sign up to The Gym Group... DO IT! I sat for over a year looking thinking i'd like to join to better my mental and physical health but kept freaking out and avoiding it thinking that I could never go to a gym.

Finally This January I plucked up the courage to go for it and all I can say is I wish I had done it sooner. I had an induction with Alix who made me feel at ease, listened to my questions and showed me a variety of cardio and weight machines to get me started at my own pace. It's improved my physical health and also helped my mental health, self esteem confidence.

I had a very poor experience. The induction is non-existent. I came 10 min earlier as per app instructions - nobody there to greet me. PT came in late, and after a very short chat she showed me where the dumbells are, and how to use one machine. Then she said "the rest of equipment is self explanatory" and she left! I said I already have anxiety and she completely ignored me. Maybe it is a good and clean place for people who already know how to exercise and use all the equipment, but defo not begginers friendly!

I've been a member of The Gym Group for quite a few years initially at Guildford then at Chichester. I've used their sites across the country and never been disappointed.

The equipment is excellent and well maintained and the gyms and changing facilities always immaculately clean. The cleaner, Trudy, is a credit to the site and the management, Chris and Alix, are welcoming and helpful.

I train without a PT but the staff are always open to spending a few minutes to help with form and technique.

It's great value for money and the parking is free. Five Stars

This gym, in my opinion, falls short of its high rating. The number of available machines appears inadequate for the current membership size, often leading to wait times. Furthermore, I've noticed a decline in cleanliness since the removal of paper towels and disinfectant spray, making it difficult to ensure proper hygiene before and after using equipment.

Lovely gym, great equipment just small. Only time its quiet is between 11pm-4am, and the people in here are quite rude and arrogant. They judge you, and being a first time gym goer it was really hitting my confidence hearing childish men laugh and talk about me when using equipment for the first time. Really put me off guard. Also, where are the staff? Ive seen one in the last 13visits? Who runs the place?

A well-equipped gym for me. It has a good team and a good price. All-day opening hours allow for a flexible training schedule. The app allows us to keep track of how many people are in the room, and more easily when to train.

I’ve been a member of this gym since it opened and the atmosphere here is the best I’ve experienced from any other gym I’ve used. All the P. T’s are extremely friendly and approachable and most of them are very reasonably priced. My friend and I have been having @Connor_Innespt for over a year now and he is brilliant! We love our sessions with him however, Matt, George & Jaz (to name a few!) are all great too. The gym is kitted out with everything you need. This is definitely the best gym in Chichester!

A great gym, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
After not training for a few years, I was anxious about being back in a gym so I decided to book some PT sessions with Connor, best decision ever! I absolutely love training again and it’s all thanks to Connor. He is extremely knowledgeable, motivating and encouraging. In just a few weeks, I am lifting more than ever, and I can see real changes in my shape! If anyone is looking for a PT, I 100% recommend Connor.

The gym is amazing and all the staff are friendly and could not help out enough.

Some equiment like abdominal crunch is only one, which is you have to wait for ages if someone using it.

Since resuming a newly opened gym in 2021, I found the atmosphere to be the best in any gym group I have gone to previously. I have made a great group of friends with other regular gym go-ers and found all the PT's to be very friendly and approachable. This helps with motivation on the days you feel a little slack.

I decided to start PTing with Connor Innes who really knows his stuff and found my progress has been so much quicker since working with a PT. He listens to my goals and adapts the program to get the results I strive for. Hightly recommend @Connor_Innespt for your goals.

Does exactly what it says on the tin ! Very well maintained equipment, polite and approachable staff and a great value membership. What more could you ask for in gym.

Majority of staff, not engaging more interested in their own friendships ! May I say I attend the gym today the toilets were disgusting staff walking around nobody checking them I know this is a budget gym, but it should have a good standard of cleanliness

I was able to train as I intended to train.

GymGroup Chichester is a great gym with friendly staff. It’s always clean with plenty of cleaning stations.
I see Matt who works there as a trainer once a week and I highly recommend him. He is just the best if your looking for a PT and he has helped me so much with my fitness

Not being a hyper gym user the experience at Chichester is how a gym should be, welcoming, clean and spacious. Best bang for buck in the market. The recent refresh has only improved the whole package.
