We're not like other gyms... We won’t tie you into a contract or charge you a fortune every month. That’s because we believe that fitness should be accessible to everybody, regardless of shape, size, fitness level, background or attitude. We’re for everyone who’s had enough of the unbelievably-expensive-monthly-contract gym, or the make-me-feel-judged-the-moment-I-walk-through-the-door gym. Affordable, high-spec, nationwide gyms, that make absolutely everybody feel welcome. Whatever your starting point, and wherever you want to go, we can help.

The training is challenging but always…
The training is challenging but always motivating, and I’ve seen real improvements in my strength, fitness, and confidence.
What I really appreciate is the encouragement and accountability — even on tough days, they push you just enough to get the best out of you, without ever making sessions feel overwhelming. Technique, safety, and progression are clearly a priority, and everything is explained in a way that’s easy to understand.
If you’re looking for a PT who’s knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in your progress, I’d absolutely recommend Nick Johal.
Not inclusive and no customer service
joined the new Uxbridge gym with the ultimate package, the app unlocked only the gym entry features and invite a friend. That was it. It didn't unlock the ultimate features such as adding 5 gyms or access to the discounts section. It also did not give me the access to the Fiit app that comes with the Ultimate package. Even the gym group apps workout section offers me to explore upgrading to ultimate to unlock it. I emailed, went in person and spoke to staff at the gym who gave me a phone number. I called and the woman said I was definitely on Ultimate package and she would investigate why things are all locked. She popped me on hold for a bit and then ended the call. I phoned again and was told by a guy that I need to do a live chat on the website from a computer not a phone. I tried but the chat bot gave me options to choose from and none applied. I tried several times but never got to chat with an actual person. I tried filling the contact us form and all the reply I got was that I can make changes online or in the app in the members area. Erm no I really can't! I tried facebook messenger with no real luck. So I was signed up to the higher tier package and receiving less than the lowest tier package. With such poor customer service that I can't get it resolved. My motivation for swapping from pure gym was the Fiit app being included in the ultimate package as I work shifts that don't allow me to book in to the classes. So I had to cancel. Shame as the gym group looked really good in their online advertising.
When I did go to the gym and used the equipment it was good kit and plenty of it as I went at a time where hardly anyone was there. It doesn't have a studio for classes so the matted free weight area becomes the classes space. That is a bit of a negative as you don't always have access to that area.
I have IBS, elhers Danlos, arthritis and other conditions which are known as hidden dissabilities. However I do not claim pip. Sometimes I can't wait for a cubicle toilet. The men's have only one cubicle toilet and 2 urinals. I think it would have been better to have 2 toilets. I always try the normal toilets first but in my second visit I waited for a good while to use the only cubicle provided before deciding I really have to go, like right now, and went to use the disabled toilet. A member of staff challenged me quite forcefully as he was using the sink to wash his hands. He told me the disabled toilet is not to be used and kept clear for disabled people and for staff. Well technically staff should have their own facilities and they should not be the disabled ones if staff are not disabled! Even if he had bothered to ask me, which he didn't, if i have a hidden disability or condition I still wouldn't have felt comfortable saying so in front of other gym users as the workout machines are right outside. People would hear my private, medical stuff. I do understand that some people think all disabilities must be wheelchair users or some other very obvious visual clues, but in reality this is not always the case. I ended up having to leave the gym and go use the chimes toilets. By the time I had gone to the chimes just to use the loo i had cooled down and didn't return to finish my workout. I was made to feel really bad and paniced/stressed about finding a toilet in time before having an embarrassment. You can't simply stop IBS, if it flares up you have no control over it. I should have downed trouser and IBS all over the floor but I am more civilised than staff!

Received an email warning me that my membership would be cancelled because of “misuse of my gym pin”. They then warned that should this behaviour continue they will ban me for good. I have no idea what that was even about. It’s not as if I’ve ever shared my pin with anyone. I’ve seen TikTok’s about people randomly getting banned. Didn’t think it was true until now.
