This is a very special venue, located in Kingskerswell, near Torquay, Devon and is at the top of our list whenever we are thinking about having a quality meal, for that special occasion.
The restaurant has a lovely, intimate atmosphere. The service is excellent, and the staff are helpful and very pleasant.
The menu has something for every taste, from the popular fish and chips to the more adventurous. My own favourite is sea bass, on spaghetti with a chorizo sauce. There is an extensive wine list, plus an adjoining bar which stocks various beers and ciders. We note that the venue is open all day for food, which makes a pleasant change. The place is popular, so consider making reservations as it quickly fills up.
