expensive servicing

The power of trustpilot

I agreed with owners to update this review as they made it a condition of helping me.

I paid over £400 for a hot tub service, thinking it would be worthwhile. The tub was working until they arrived.

After an afternoon working on the hot tub, the service engineer told me it was no longer working, and I needed a £1000 Spa Pack replacement (which they would supply) to get it working again. He showed me a panel on the tub with an error message.

I restarted the tub myself, and found that it is working OK - and posted a negative review on Trustpilot

The Hot Tub & Swim Company agreed to send an engineer around to recheck the pack and bleed any airlocks on condition that I altered the review (which I have now done)

They sent the engineer around, who looked at the tub, bled the airlocks and said that it is working OK but the Spa Pack is 'Erratic'.

They have offered to replace my Spa Pack for £935 which is the cost of parts but give the labour free. I've decided not to take them up on that as the hot tub is working.
