Dishonesty in business

My third appointment at the House of Blondes was with Santi after he arrived in Naples from Italy. I booked full head highlights with him, just like I did with Destiny and Perl. I also booked tinsels for sparkle the same day since I live 2 hours from Naples. But after driving home and putting my hair up in a ponytail, I noticed long 2-inch roots all around my head, such as at my temples, all around the front, and in the back of my head!!! I paid for full-head highlights with Santi, but he only gave me a partial. Thus, I could not wear my hair up in a bun for my ballet class because my hair looked UNDONE and ROOTS SO LONG IT WAS EMBRASSING. For the gym workouts, I had to wear my hair loose since it was embarrassing to wear my hair up. After chatting with Santi on Instagram, he offered to ADD MORE FOILS to my hair, stating his clients are his walking advertisement. I am grateful he offered to fix my highlights, but I live 2 hours away from Naples. I had to travel on Saturday just to add more highlights. After Santi added additional foils and washed my hair, my sparkly tinsels fell out of my hair during the service. I had to return to HOB the third time to add more tinsels. Luckily, I was on the West Coast for orthodontics, so I planned my tinsels trip around my orthodontic adjustment appointment. After two visits with Santi, my hair did not feel dry for the first time with HOB. I asked Santi to skip Olaplex, and I am so glad he listened! After the color service, my scalp did not itch, and my hair felt soft and manageable.

After three separate 2-hour trips to HOB to do my hair with Santi, I asked to speak to the manager about my experience with Santi color service. She refunded me the blow-out fee and the tinsels' fees since I had the same services done twice in about a week. Tinsels had to be redone since they fell out with the additional foils that Santi put in my hair. The blow-dry had to be done twice as well.

However, the manager blamed my dry hair and scalp condition on me and asked me to leave the salon because 'We are not a good fit'. She did not take the time to listen to my experiences with HOB hairdressers. She blamed the customer instead of adjusting to my needs. She could not handle honest critical feedback about how their hair treatments made my hair and scalp feel. She was protecting the hairdressers and the company and talked about the liability that they did not damage my hair. The manager canceled my hair extension appointments with Christina and Perl and the color service with Grace, who used to do my tinsels. Again, the House of Blondes is focused on business, not hairdressing. They don't care about the customer's feedback. The hairdressers could not handle my criticism. Thus, they cannot grow. From my experiences with other companies, they always strive to make a customer happy and tell me that their customer is always right.

The HOB manager did not support me as a vegan client and did not try to create an inclusive environment for me as a vegan. She does not support diversity.
