I ordered these matching personalised leather bracelets for a present for my partner. They looked great on arrival but 2 months later one fell apart and the other soon followed. For the amount of money I spent I would have expected a refund or at least a repair! However, I was told that because it was over 30 days this was not possible. When I buy a nice piece of jewellery I expect it to last years, not months. I am very upset at the service and will never use this company again.
Ordered personalised glasses for a wedding gift. The item arrived late, and is very poor quality- the glasses were cheap , and the engraving was so much lighter than the image advertised, that you could hardly see it! Return was refused by the vendor also!
I recently ordered the Peter Rabbit bookends which were personalised, and I could not be happier!
A quality product, beautifully personalised, packaging was excellent and the service was more than rapid!
Thank you so much!

Terrible service, terrible products and very late delivery. The biggest issue is their complete lack of customer service
I bought a birthday gift for my partner who loves dinosaurs! It arrived with perfect timing and was in such a cute little box! I love it, my partner loves it - it's perfect!
I ordered coat hooks and it was bent quite a lot. This made it very difficult to put up on the wall but we managed to do it. Now it does not sit flush on the wall, it just sticks out and does not look good at all.
I emailed customer service as soon as I received the parcel to let them know. They said I would have to post the item back, and once they receive it, they can send out another. This didn't make much sense because I had specifically paid extra for express delivery, so this would have meant I'd have had to go out of my way to return the item, wait about 2 weeks for a replacement to be sent back, and they also wouldn't compensate me for paying for express delivery in the first place.
It was well packaged so this is possibly something that wasn't picked up on before it was posted.
You could also buy directly from bombayduck.com which seems to be where they buy their products from.
I ordered in late February and one of the items I ordered was not delivered, claiming on the packing note they had contacted me. No contact was made, I checked my junk box etc. Claimed they were waiting on supplier. Contacted them a further three times and now I am receiving no reply - I am how having to put a claim into my bank to reclaim the money for the items that have not been delivered and The Letteroom have effectively stolen money and are now not replying to numerous emails and contact forms.
I ordered a personalised name train for my newborn grandson in Nov.2021. When it arrived it had an O (letter) and a 0 (figure zero)in his name instead of 2 O's, which looked bizarre. I was told to return the incorrect item and then had to send numerous e mails through Not on the High Street before I got my return postage refunded. Nearly 5 months on I am STILL waiting for the missing rear carriage that did not arrive with my order as it was out of stock. I am not impressed but will not let the matter drop. UPDATE - finally got the rear carriage today, so the order has taken almost 5 months to complete. I wish I had checked the reviews here before placing an order !! FURTHER UPDATE. The items rec'd were actually Bigjigs items. Having checked on Bigjigs website I realise now that I could have ordered direct from them and saved £5 and possibly a whole lot of hassle! One learns the hard way by a bad experience.
Appalling!!
Where to start - I saw a personalised item on Not on the High Street who I thought were a good company
The item showed as available before Xmas for standard delivery by 22nd Dec and express by 20th - I opted for standard and paid
Then I got a message that the item would not be ready till at least 4th January so despite the blatant misrepresentation on the website I decided to cancel. They then said I couldn’t because it was a personalised item
The personalising is a letter A attached to the item and I’m sure they’ll have boxes of those! In any case if they’ve been able to personalise the item in two days why is it going to take two weeks to dispatch it
Despite me complaining they’re sticking to their guns and refusing to cancel it
Charlatans - I’ve raised a credit card dispute and will take them to court if necessary. I’m amazed Not on the High Street use them having seen the awful reviews on Trust Pilot
I shan’t use either company again and recommend no one else does
Disgusting
Bad bad bad!
Ordered a personalised chopping board. Got an email saying it was posted, and then another saying the order was refunded. Emailed customer services who said the item was out of stock! There was no mention of this on the website, and initially they confirmed it had been posted. Too late to order another one for Xmas now. In the email, there was no apology for the inconvenience, nothing.
Will not be buying for these people again. And looking at the below reviews, it sounds like customer service is appalling. Avoid these guys! Plenty of other websites on the net with much better customer service.
I am very pleased with the item I ordered. It was exactly as shown on screen and it was delivered very promptly indeed.I shall certainly use the Letteroom again.
They quote that they have 'quibble free' returns but if anything has a letter on it then its personalised and they won't accept it back. Given this is their entire premise seems a bit of a joke.. Avoid like the plague
I'm so disappointed. I bought the 'personalised ' planter as a 10 year wedding anniversary for my husband. Other than the fact I had to pay over €20 shipping - which us extortionate, I've bought other much larger items from the UK since Brexit and NEVER paid more than €10 - the item falls way below par. How can you advertise these items as personalized when it involves stickers!!?? One of which had fallen off when delivered! This is disingenuous advertising. The item I thought would be an anniversary keepsake in reality will probably end up peeling off and go in the bin. Needless to say, I won't be recommending.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Very rude male on the phone this afternoon who had absolutely no time whatsoever for me. I purchased 2 initial coat hooks some time ago online. The delivery address linked to my account was incorrect so I immediately emailed to let them know. I received a personal confirmation email back saying that they had acknowledged the change of address request and that my paid for items would indeed, be posted to the correct address. Low and behold, what has happened??... the items have been posted to the incorrect address - which we have not lived in for 3 years and have no way of accessing as it is a secure Military Unit some distance away. I phoned to query this and was very rudely spoken to and basically told that I had no choice but to accept the loss of £35 unless the item could be returned to them. Obviously, this is not possible for my reasons stated above plus I received written confirmation of my change of address so quite rightly expected to receive the product I had purchased. Disgusting.

This company is a complete waste of time. I ordered an item, which was show on their website, only to be emailed saying 'sorry, due to the pandemic we can't use the machine'. Well you can clearly still use the computer so just take down the items you can't - or should I say 'can't be bothered' to make. Don't waste your time!
Awful company with no integrity. Bought an expensive bespoke jigsaw of our home are from then which it took us sometime to complete - lockdown really. When we did it, there was one piece missing. It was particularly important as my husband had just been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Explained this to them in an email,no reply ( despite comments by others about missing pieces). This was followed, when chased by rude and unpleasant emails refusing to help in any way (I would have been open to paying a small charge because of lateness in finding the fault but no go) Having read reviews on other sites, this is a common response to shortfalls by them
